It was Sunday, finally. I finally had one day to myself and I wasn't going to spend it with movies and ice cream. I needed to get out of the house. Work this past week was hectic and the date of the launch of the new collection was approaching.
After dressing up in a pair of ripped black jeans and a crop top I left the apartment with a denim jacket in my hands. Despite of refusing so many times, dad bought me a new car, a shiny black Mercedes Benz. I was happy to finally get a new car taking cabs everyday was tiring but I wanted to buy it with my own money that I was saving up for this sole purpose. But my old man was smart enough to emotionally blackmail me and paid for it too.
I ended up wandering in different stores and buying new work clothes and makeup. I was so bored and couldn't call my friends as they were busy with work and their families.
In one of the shops I found the tall black haired woman I saw that morning in Thiago's penthouse, yelling at some poor employee. The issue didn't even sound that serious and she was acting like a bitch about it and I was smart enough to ignore her.
"Do whatever I say, don't you know who I am?" She snapped in a snobby tone. Wow someone was raised right. Note the sarcasm.
The guy had the guts to shake his head and I stifled a laugh. The woman was now fuming anger, the only thing remaining was smoke coming out of her ears.
"I'm Anastasia Thompson, get that through your thick skull." She stomped out of the boutique and the guy rolled his eyes. Wow, so freaking immature of her.
.
I originally went outside for clothes shopping but ended up buying a cute little puppy. Who could resist those cute creatures. I decided to name the little guy Odin on my way back home. With Odin's strap and coffee in my left hand, I struggled to pick up my apartment keys from the floor. He was an over excited dog.
Straightening up I found Thiago with my keys in his hand as he passed it to me. "Thanks" I muttered. I should expect seeing him more often as we lived in the same apartment complex.
"What are you doing here?" He asked patting the dog's head.
"I live here, 3rd floor." His eyes widened as he took in the information then a little smirk took over his lips. "No, don't even think about hanging out with me and annoying me." I left him and ran to stop the elevator but he ofcourse followed.
"Oh come on, I know you would love to spend time with me." He said mischievously with a glint in his eyes and I just groaned back in response.
He barged into my house as an unwanted guest and made himself comfortable on the couch in my living room and switched on the TV. I will never understand men.
I shook my head but let him do whatever he wanted and went into the kitchen to feed Odin something and bring Thiago some snacks and juice.
"Good boy." I cooed as I patted Odin
I put the snacks on the table and flopped beside Thiago keeping enough distance between us.
"How does it feel after ruining my Sunday evening?" I asked teasingly.
"I can leave if you want me to." He stood up, taking my words seriously. My eyes widened at his behaviour.
"No! Uh I mean y-you can stay if you want to of course." I mentally scolded myself for stuttering.
He turned around and grinned like he didn't act like a sad bitch just a moment ago. "I knew you had a thing for me." He said placing his hand on his chest.
"Fuck off." I rolled my eyes but smiled a little after moving away from him so he couldn't see me. He chuckled and offered to watch a movie together but I wasn't in a mood so I offered to bake something together to which he replied with a not so good face.
