~Chapter 19~

Game time!

"Okay girls! That was perfect! Bravo" Bebe clapped exhaling quickly. Everyone was out of breath but at least we got our routine down with no mistakes, now we have to do it again during the game. Everyone headed just outside the gym to get a drink at the water fountain, some of us heading for our water bottles.

Approaching my backpack I slip my purple water bottle from my bag and hop onto the bleachers. Seconds after someone sat down beside me, I couldn't tell the visitor because I was too busy chugging down water.

"So just out of curiosity are we on good terms?" I raise my eyebrow and stop drinking, turning. It was Bebe, she appeared nervous. She was fiddling with the edge of her uniform waiting for me to answer but what was I to say?

Previously she made a fool out of me alongside Wendy. If it weren't for the guys I'd probably be bullied up until now. I shrug "I guess so... as long as you don't harass me" I stated running my fingers through my ponytail. Bebe smiled softly "I'm sorry for all those times... you don't have to trust me but I think we should be friends. I know when you first moved here I'd come over so you'd tutor me. I remember you tried to be my friend but... I wasn't having it. I was kinda grumpy with the world I really didn't want to do school work outside of..... well, school."

Bebe and I let out a chuckle "it's okay honestly it didn't bug me much and I don't mind being friends. Sometimes the guys are high and dry they don't really get my perspective some days." Bebe laughs "boys will never understand" she shakes her head, I look up to the ceiling and smile. "You like Stan don't you?" "!" I snap my head towards Bebe "w-what?" I stutter "so it is true!" She squealed with excitement.

"She likes Stan!" Someone else blurts. Oh god. Suddenly all the girls run back into the gym and crowd around me "you two would be so cute!" "Are you going to ask him out?!" "You totally should!" I was unsure what to do I never really connected with girls that well; being in this situation was very awkward.

Now I really know not to take advantage of the guy's personalities. Sure they're dicks at times but they leave you alone when it's clear. Bebe lets go of me "you should let us give you a makeover so you can get him to fall for you" I wave my hands in front of me dismissively "if he liked me it should be for my personality you know."

Nicole nods in agreement "she's right, beauty is just bonus points. That's what Token tells me" everyone awe's at Nicole "my boyfriend always says I'm beautiful I don't know what I'd do without him." I space off as everyone begins to talk about boys. I've even heard some crushes slip out, I guess Cartman even has an admirer.

I wonder. What if Stan doesn't like me the way I do? Who would I go on to like next? I've never really been interested into the other guys at our school. I shake my head; think positive he's been flirting with you for a while, that's gotta be a sign!

"Okay girls times up. Are you ready?" Bebe hopped off the bleachers and we all huddle into a circle "this is the real deal, everyone remember to finish with your arms in the air. This is a performance but also a cheer so once we're done we transition into our smaller practices." Everyone nods their heads "good, cheer?" Bebe sticks her hand in and everyone stacks on top "1. 2. 3. Leader!" Everyone shouts and giggles "okay, lets go!"

Now that the game was on I couldn't help but feel jittery. As we were walking out into the field with people of both teams screaming for joy I just smiled because I knew even if we lost this was still our representation of teamwork and passion.

Time Skip~ because who wants to heard about a whole football game?

Stan's P.O.V

"Go cows!"  The girls shouted as the whistle blew; when the ball landed into my palms I bolted forward but was soon greeted with several opposing players nailing me towards the earth. When they all got off me I just lied there trying to catch my breath "Marsh, break."
