Chapter 13

I spent an hour with Tweek then I decided it was time to head back to Stan's. I didn't receive any messages from him so I was hoping he had gotten up and wasn't still asleep.

I walked up his drive way and turned on the knob it was surprisingly open. "Stan?!" I shout closing the door behind me, up stairs I could hear running and it trailed down the stairs till I saw Stan "sup" I sigh in relief at his presence.

"Well?" I asked placing a a hand on my hip. Stan had a smile on his face "the project is good, bottles are out back, drank three glasses of water, I did everything" "wow! And you're even ready to go I'm impressed" I laugh jokingly.

"So, where are we going?" I bite down on my lip and look up in thought "I was thinking the mall, shopping for things that I like always cheers me up. I can even call Kyle up" I take my phone from my pocket and turn it on but Stan pushes down on my hand "how about it's just you and I? I don't really feel like talking to Kyle you told him everything, didn't you?"

"Well I figured you'd tell him..." I fiddle with the edge of my coat. "No your right but if I talk to him today he'll give me heck I just want a break for a day" I put my phone in my pocket and smile "I understand" "sweet I'll drive" Stan tries to walk past my but I stop him "no, I'll drive" I say in a stern tone.

"You're still hung over, so hand over the keys" I stick out my hand palm upwards. Stan sighs in defeat and drops his keys for the truck into my hand I close my hand and make a cutesy smile "alrighty let's go" I happily lead. "Nerd" I stick my tongue out in response and head out the door.

"Ah whose that for? I believe it's too childish for you" Stan said looking into the little box "it's for Tricia, Craig's little sister I told her I'd get her something the next time I came back to the mall. Tricia was jealous that I had bought a new controller for Craig since he broke his last one when he got pissed off at a game" I explain, Stan raises an eye brow at me.

"Well, anyways I wanted to buy her something before I forgot. I'll probably drop it off later" I shrug "it's cute." We had already spent an hour at the mall and it was getting busier and busier every minute. While we were walking past stores I noticed a store with a little heart chained bracelet with an orange kitten charm on it. It really reminded me of Tricia for whatever reason, it was perfect.

She always told me she liked charm bracelets and there's even more charms she can collect. I closed the little pink box and put it into my bag I had already bought a bunch of new clothes I can't seem to ever control myself when I go to the mall so I set a limit. Currently I have no more money on me so I can't buy anything till the next time I work.

"Can we head to the gaming store I wanted to check out something" "sure" Stan agrees.  We walk side by side, the crowd thickening as we progressed. I kept looking back and forth from Stan's face and in front of me. He seemed to be really happy right now which I'm really glad but I couldn't help but have my anxiousness sitting on my shoulders, whispering in my ear that he's just pretending.

We walk through the isles scanning over new games I wasn't sure what Stan was looking for but I recognized a newer game that Craig wanted to play with me and Tweek awhile back that we saw on a TV commercial. He seemed really happy about it... I sigh in disappointment remembering the closeness back then "ah I guess it comes out a month from now I was sure it was already released... maybe it was somewhere else" I perked up looking over at Stan "what game is it?" I ask.

It's this four player shooting game the guys and I were going to play, I was thinking you could come over too but you usually work the summer" "ya I usually do." "Well anyways that's all I needed to see here. Where do you wanna go next?" Stan hums.
