"There's no way." You laughed, shaking your head as you turned away from Jungkook, looking out the window with your arms crossed.
He looked over at you sympathetically, before coaxing your arms away from your chest and wrapping one of your hands into his.
"I'm sorry." He murmured, rubbing a thumb over your hand. "I can call in sick for you tomorrow. I already reported the douche." He offered, and you stayed silent, hiding away your tears as you looked out the window, refusing to meet Jungkook's eyes.
You were ashamed. How stupid could you have been? How could you have been so oblivious to not know that you had cameras all over your house, and that one of your main employers was a huge pervert?
You felt disgusted, and disgusting. He'd seen you naked countless times, and watched you through some of your most personal moments.
"Do you want me to say something to him?" Jungkook asked, pulling you out of your thoughts.
He'd pulled over to the side of the road, his blinkers flashing as he patiently waited for an answer.
You hadn't even noticed.
"No. I just, want to go home." You whispered, pulling your hand out of Jungkook's and hugging yourself tightly.
It was freezing.
"Okay, I'll order some food then." Jungkook said, before turning on the heater and speeding away.
-
You were in a much lighter mood than before, but still disturbed.
Jungkook always knew how to cheer you up, but you couldn't get the image of the flashing red camera that was watching your every move.
He was currently busy, having a heated conversation with Hoseok, his personal assistant.
"Tell the company if they don't have him gone by tomorrow, I'll sue them for every penny they're worth." He snapped, before throwing his phone onto the chair beside him and loosening his tie, running a hand through his hair frustratedly.
You were in the next room, oblivious to his conversation and determination to get the photographer fired before you headed back to work.
"I'm back! The pizza place's credit card system wasn't working." Jungkook lied, smiling widely at you as he took a seat beside you.
"Did you get pineapples on it?" You asked, selecting a movie and sitting back with blankets wrapped around your body.
He nodded, a disgruntled expression on his face.
"I'll never understand why fruit belongs on pizza." He mumbled to himself, lightly shaking his head to himself.
"It's a masterpiece." You countered, handing him the popcorn bowl, and he took it from you, popping a few pieces into his mouth.
"What movie did you pick anyway?" He asked, squinting his eyes at the TV screen, a bad habit he'd harbored since he was a little kid. His mother would always scold him when he did so, claiming he'd get forehead wrinkles like his father.
You always thought he looked cute.
"Gonjiam." You smiled, making Jungkook shiver.
The two of you were inseparable since birth, but one thing that always got in between the both of you was your love for scary movies.
You forced him to watch The Grudge with you in the fifth grade, and Jungkook slept with his mom for half a year afterwards.
He wasn't allowed to come over to your house for a long time after that, but eventually all was forgiven and forgotten.
