You slammed the door shut, clambering into your apartment with shopping bags full of ice cream and soju.

"Fucking bitch." You muttered under your breath, continually reminded of your mom's rude behavior at the restaurant.

The one thing you never wanted her to say or bring up again, she said it.

She brought up Namjoon. The one thing you tried so desperately to forget. To erase from your life.

Yanking open the bag, the familiar clanking of green soju bottles filled your ears.

Sounds like music.

You snatched one from inside the bag and hit it against your counter, and the cap popped right off.

Taking a swig, you made a face from the bitter liquid.

And then another sip.

-

"Y/N?" Jungkook's voice came from the hallway.

"Get out." You mumbled, still irritated from the dinner.

"I brought food. You can't just skip meals." He said, walking into the living room and setting down a bag of food and taking away the green bottles from you.

"Don't tell me what to do." You snapped, but took the paper bag from Jungkook's hands anyway, opening the takeout box that was in it.

"Why do you never say anything?" You asked, taking the fork Jungkook handed you and digging into the pasta.

"It's not my place to interfere with arguments between you and your mother." He simply answered, and you rolled your eyes.

"Who cares? I talk whenever I want to." You said, your mouth full.

Jungkook made a face and handed you a napkin.

"Exactly. And that's why you're always in so much trouble." He said, wiping your mouth for you when you didn't take the napkin.

"Whatever, are you spending the night today?" You asked, distracted by the TV.

"Do you want me to?" He asked, and you shrugged.

"I need someone to make me breakfast and wake me up tomorrow." You said, and he smiled before nodding.

"Okay, I'll sleep over."

-

"Scoot the fuck, over." You growled, trying to push Jungkook over with your feet.

He let out a sleepy grunt, moving your legs with one sweep of his arms.

He was hogging nearly three quarters of your bed, and though he was a lean guy, he was nearly impossible to move over.

"Jungkook, please move." You whined, pinching his cheeks to wake him up.

He stayed fast asleep, unwilling to move.

So you moved your legs on top of his to stay on the bed without falling off, and fell back asleep.

-

You woke up yet again to the sound of Jungkook on the phone.

He was no longer hogging the space on your bed, but where his body once lay still radiated heat.

Half asleep, you paid no attention to the conversation, and situated yourself onto the warm spot.

"Mina, please." Jungkook begged, closing his eyes as tears rolled down his cheeks.

"I knew I couldn't trust you." She sobbed from the other end.

"I thought I'd let it pass when I saw the paparazzi pictures from the restaurant, but now you're sleeping over at her house?" She continued, and Jungkook shook his head.
