Changbin sat in Chenle's bedroom as the younger played on his game console, occasionally yelling at the t.v. He hadn't had anything better to do seeing it was the weekend. Despite being in America for two and a half months already, he hasn't done much. Changbin thought when he got here he'd be able to do some cool things. Like site see, or go to a really popular beach. Not that either of those things were something he'd normally be into, he just thought that's what his dad would force him to do. But, he wasn't complaining. He just wanted to finish the school year and go home to his mom and Felix.
Seeing his father has left him alone the majority of the time he has been here, Chenle and him had gotten reasonably close. At least enough that Changbin is used to his constant screaming. He hasn't really spoken to his new step mother, and he isn't really interested to do so either.
"I thought by now you'd be on the phone with Felix," Chenle spoke suddenly, setting his controller down.
Changbin lifted his head which was rested on the wall behind him, "hm?"
Chenle laughed and repeated what he said, earning a long 'oh' from the older.
"I don't know really...it's hard to contact him now seeing when I'm awake he is asleep," Changbin shrugged crossing his arms over his chest.
"Yeah I guess so, did dad tell you about the dinner guests for tonight?"
Changbin rose an eyebrow, "no...who's coming over?"
Chenle shrugged, "he wouldn't tell me. I definitely thought you'd know."
"I don't," Changbin shook his head, "is it a big deal?"
"Well he never brings people over, let alone feed them dinner so...yeah I think it's a big deal."
Changbin nodded and looked down to his phone. Maybe I should call Felix? He thought, picking up his phone. Though that thought was cut short when the voice of Yukhei spoke.
"Your dad wants to talk to us Changbin," he grunted, leaning in the door way.
Changbin looked up to him and sighed, "okay."
Chenle gave him a worried look as he got up and followed Yukhei down the hallway.

Felix stood in the kitchen at Miss Seo's house, hands in the sink washing the dishes. The two had just finished eating and Felix insisted he clean up this time.
"Felix sweetie, do you mind quick wiping the table down when your done?" Miss Seo asked popping her head in the kitchen.
Felix nodded and wiped down the last dish. He drained the sink and cleaned out the bubbles, grabbing the cloth directly after.
"Has Changbin contacted you lately, Miss Seo?" Felix asked from the kitchen as he rung out the cloth.
The woman let out a low hum and responded from the living room, "not since last week."
Felix sighed and shook his head. He knows Changbin loves his mom dearly but he should at least call and say goodnight more often. Felix can see how worried she is for Changbin.
"I'm gonna have to knock some sense into him," Felix said with a laugh and begun to wipe down the table.
"Oh don't worry about it, if he is too busy I understand. Plus his mom can barley ever answer the phone anyway," She sighed and walked into the kitchen to hear Felix better.
Felix nodded and put the cloth back into the sink. Miss Seo gave him a soft smile and leaned on the wall.
"You are really good for him Felix."
Felix rose his eyebrows in surprise. He wasn't sure if she new about his relationship with Changbin. Not that it was anything serious but the two did have feelings for each other. As far as he was concerned she thought the two were only friends.
"You look surprised," she laughed.
Felix was hesitant to speak, not knowing how he should respond to that. He could feel heat rising to his cheeks as a sheepish smile fell on his lips.
"Felix?" She asked with a playful expression.
"Um...do you know?" He questioned, looking down at his feet. He spoke faintly feeling slightly embarrassed.
The woman let out a chuckle and then responded, "what? That you have a crush on my son?"
Immediately every muscle in Felix body clenched, and his face turned beat red. His eyes were wide as he looked up at Miss Seo in panic.
When she saw how he reacted she rose her eyebrows in surprise, "oh honey, calm down it's not a big deal!"
She reached over and placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder, "if anything I hope things work out for you. My boy was always either working or hiding in his room. The only person he ever spoke to was Jisung. But, after you came along oh boy." Miss Seo laughed. Felix's face softened at her words.
"I know he probably thinks because I'm so busy, I don't notice the things that go on but believe me. I do...Changbin, that damn boy is such a hard nut to crack some times but here you are, and surely you succeeded."
Felix smiled and said, "thank you..."
"Oh don't thank me! I should be thanking you!" She laughed and pulled the boy into a small hug.
Felix hugged the woman back and sighed, "You are seriously the best mom ever. I'm jealous Changbin got you and not me." He joked pulling away from the hug.
Miss Seo scoffed and waved him off, "I'll be your mom too in no time. Just sweep my son off his feet!"
The two shared a long laugh before the phone from the living room began to chime. Felix watched as Miss Seo walked over and pick it up.
"Hello?" She answered crossing her arms over her chest.
She took the phone off her ear and covered the speaker whispering to Felix, "it's your lover."
He chuckled as his cheeks tinted pink, and covered his face in embarrassment.
Speak of the devil, he thought.
