In the car, Ariella had wished she had had time to shower.
"I wish I could've showered before we left." she said, wiping some dirt off her white converse that had been in the car.
"Maybe you should change." Cooper said, ignoring her comment about showering.
"With you sitting right next to me? No thanks." Ariella said and Cooper sighed.
"I already saw you in your bra this morning, just do it." he said with an irritated tone. Ariella stared at his side profile before taking the clothes out of the bag, mumbling a "Don't watch me."
The 'uniform' consisted of a tight crop top with spaghetti straps and a tight leather mini skirt.
"You don't have to take off your clothes when we get there." Cooper said casually and Ariella scowled at him.
"You bet your ass I'm not taking my clothes off." she said and kept looking out the window before turning the radio on. She flicked to a station that played a lot of music by the cab, a band that she loved. She turned up the radio and hummed along.

Cooper couldn't help but watch Ariella as her body moved slightly to the music and her humming got louder. He smiled at her and felt a little guilty for making her wear such a skimpy outfit for something that she shouldn't even have to be involved in. A family feud would be, well, an understatement. But he really needed her help to distract the guys at the bar while he snuck into the back to take care of some unfinished business.
"Can you at least give me a hint or a jist of what we're doing?" Ariella practically begged and Cooper looked at her momentarily.
"Now who's begging?" he asked and saw her smiling out of the corner of his eye.
"I got cheated." Cooper simply said and kept driving, wanting to drop the subject and listen to Ariella humming along to the music.
"And what do you need me for?" she asked and Cooper tightened his grip around the wheel.
"I need you to distract the guys at the bar so I can sneak into the back." Cooper said and Ariella squinted at him. He wasn't sure if she was believing him.
"And what are you doing in the 'back'?" she asked and Cooper rolled his eyes at her persistent questions.
"Like I said, the less you know, the better." he said and Ariella shut her mouth.
Cooper stopped the car at the bar and turned the engine off.
"Okay, since it's the afternoon, business should consist of middle-aged dudes having their mid-life crises. All you have to do is distract the guys working at the bar. You walk in first. Start yelling or doing whatever you need to do to distract him. And try to be sexy." Cooper finished and Ariella sighed.

"Have fun." he said with a wink and Ariella opened the door and stepped out just as Cooper slapped her butt. She flipped him off before strutting into the bar in black pumps that just so happened to be a size too small. The bar was dark with a few signs here and there that lit up. The guy behind the bar was in his 20's, and was pretty good looking. Scratch that, VERY good looking. Ariella went up to the bar and sat down in a stool, farthest from the door and hardest to see who was coming in. The bartender came over and leaned his elbows onto the bar so that he was focusing on Ariella. She looked at the other people sitting at the bar, and Cooper had been right. All middle-aged dudes.
"What's a pretty lady like you doing all alone at a place like this?" he asked and Ariella would've reacted in a disgusted way if she hadn't remembered that she had to distract him.
"What's a hot guy like you doing at a place like this?" she asked, running her finger up his arm.
"Earning some money to get a place to call my own. I'm Jimmy." he said and Ariella looked up at him through her eyelashes.
"Ariella." she said and bit her lip. She didn't really know what she was doing but it seemed to be working.
"Well, Ariella, what would you like? It's on me." he said and she thought for a second.
"I'm really... hungry." she said and leaned in to Jimmy. It was true. She was starving.
"Let's get some food into you. Unless you're hungry for something else?" he asked with a wink and Ariella looked down at the bar countertop.
"Let's get some food into me and then we can see if I'm hungry for more, yeah?" she whispered into his ear.
Ariella had never seen a guy move so fast to get her food. While he was busy, she saw Cooper walking into the back room. When had he walked in? Had he seen or heard her interaction with Jimmy?
"Here you go." Jimmy said and placed a sandwich in front of Ariella. It would do. She bit into it, not breaking eye contact with Jimmy. He watched intently as she licked her lips. She finished eating it and Cooper had still not come out of the back room.
"Still hungry?" Jimmy said huskily and Ariella couldn't help but feel flushed and tingly. Jimmy was toned, hot, and just all around sexy. She didn't mind maybe hooking up a little.
"Just a little." she said and they leaned in.
"MARK TAKE THE BAR." Jimmy yelled before coming around and taking Ariella's hand and pulling her urgently. He pulled her into the back room and pushed her against a wall. His lips were suddenly on hers and he tasted minty and sweet. She kissed him back and nibbled his lip. That was when she saw Cooper, holding something black in his hand, watching her and Jimmy, and his eyes darkened.
They came up for air and Ariella closed the gap between them, hoping to give Cooper some time to get out of the room. And also Jimmy was a great kisser. But Cooper didn't move.
And then Ariella moaned. She didn't mean to but Jimmy's hands started to roam her body and his tongue was in her mouth. She closed her eyes and couldn't stop herself from imagining that she was kissing Cooper. When she opened her eyes, Cooper was no longer in the room. There was a crash from the bar area and a voice yelled.
"Fuck." Jimmy said and ran out of the back room, yelling at Mark. Ariella seized the oppurtunity and ran out of the room. She looked over at Jimmy who had his hands full before quickly walking out of the bar.
Ariella ran to Cooper's car and opened the door. He started the engine and drove off before anybody could see them.
Cooper didn't say anything. Ariella waited and waited, thinking he would at least say thank you after she had made out with a total stranger for him. She was about to say something witty and sassy when Cooper cut her off.
"I don't want to hear you moan because of what another guy does to you ever again."
