Josh and I have been dating for 6 months now. We have a very successful relationship. I personally think we are a very cute couple. My brother, Tyler, has another idea. He doesn't like that I'm dating his best friend because I'm his little sister and all.

Josh and I are thinking about moving in together. I think we are ready because he's 29 and I'm 25. We won't even leave LA for the sake of it being easier for Josh to work on Twenty-One Pilots. I found this very cute urban apartment that will work so well for us! I'm going to close the deal on it tomorrow, but I'm going to tell my family first. The only person I'm concerned about is Tyler. He's used to me always being at home, but I'm not a kid anymore and I have to be a strong, independent, woman.

---NEXT DAY---

"So, what do you guys think about us moving?" "I think it is a great idea! It'll help you and Josh bond as well as give you more independence." said Mom. "I agree." said Dad. "Tyler?" I asked. "It's a no for me." said Tyler. "Wait, Tyler, why?" I asked. "You're still a kid you'd never survive out there on your own! If you move out, I won't be there to help you." said Tyler. "I don't need your help Tyler! I'm not a kid anymore." I said. "Whatever, I still think it's a bad idea." replied Tyler.

—-MOVING DAY—-

"Do you need any help with that?" I said as I helped Josh move all the boxes into our new apartment. "Nah, it's all good," said Josh. We were finally almost done packing when Tyler comes into the apartment. "Ty, what are you doing here?" I asked. Tyler replied, "I need to stop you before you get too far! You're making a mistake y/n!" "Maybe if you knew what was best for her, you would support her in her decisions!" Josh fired back. This isn't gonna end well. "What the heck man, I'm just trying to protect my sister, I care about her too you know!" Tyler said. Josh replied, "You think i don't want that for her too! I love her and I want her to be able to become her own woman. You can't always be there to protect her! She needs to learn how to protect herself. If she ever needs anything I'll walk a million miles to get to her." I was so overcome with emotion that I didn't realize I was crying. That was the moment I really realized that Josh loves me for who I am. "You're right, it's for her benefit, I know you love and care about her and I trust you to keep her safe. I'm sorry." said Tyler. "It's okay man." Josh replied. After this, we all helped finish loading in and unpacking boxes so Josh and I can begin our new life together.
