Nearly eleven miles away Lloyd Parks was waiting impatiently in Rodeo Studios reception, the same studios that produced and discovered Hot Flames. He was waiting for Florence Hart the Anglo-Irish woman who had founded and owned Rodeo Studios.

Lloyd Parks was a young man dressed in a thin suit and a very expensively annoying hat. He was Hot Flames manager and was here to see Ms. Hart about Harvey James' solo career.

Suddenly the glass door behind reception flung open and Florence Hart came striding out of it, wearing a smart and neat pinstripe suit, with about five journalists following her out, asking questions that would never be answered in the first place.

Parks quickly paced over to her pushing some of the journalists aside to give her a bit of room. She looked up at him not immediately recognizing him. She then remembered and grimaced at him disgustedly.

''Oh god Mr. Parks not you again. Whatever you have to talk to me about it had better be about Hot Flames otherwise I don't care at all''.

''Well it's to do with Harvey James solo career''.

''Solo career?'', one of the journalists shouted out. Cameras flashed and flashed.

Ms. Hart turned back to Lloyd and led him to her office. She smiled with gritted teeth. ''You'll pay for this Parks''.

As they headed into her office she sipped a cup of coffee which seemed to have appeared out of nowhere.

She sat down at her desk filled with broken pencils, ballpoint pens and stacks of papers. He felt awkward sitting there. He knew he was treading on dangerous waters with Hart but he had to give it a shot as Harvey had offered him a massive slice if he got through to her.

''Mr. Parks'', she said smoothly, ''you obviously know that I dislike, no not dislike, hate you but nevertheless I admire your nerdy optimism. So I'm going to let you talk to me about Harvey's solo career. You have less than seven point five minutes''.

She looked at her watch waited a coupe of seconds then sturdily screeched, ''go''.

''Well'', he said awkwardly,''Harvey James has asked me to ask you about going solo. As in without Hot Flames''.

''Hmmm. But I thought that he said that he did that so he could have complete control over Rory and Chuck''.

''You see Parks the studios have done tests on this sort of thing before''. She pulled a sheet of paper under her desk. Lloyd could not see the front of it but could see a coffee stain on the back.

She quickly pulled on her glasses and read out what was presumed to be on the sheet of paper. ''You see according to this it says that seventy percent of fans in general like Harvey James. Twenty percent for Rory Blink. And ten for poor old Chuck''.

There was a long silence in the tightly crammed but prim office. After thirty seconds Lloyd piped up. ''So does this mean that....?''

''It means nothing!'', she snapped. ''We''ll probably have a lot of paperwork to go through and a lot more tests but it certainly looks like Harvey James' wish shall be granted. Leave. Now''.

''Thank you so much, he will be pleased''.

''He'd better be. Oh and one more thing Parks. If you screw this up for me I will destroy you. I got you that place as Harvey James' manager I can take it away with a snap of my fingers. Don't let me down''.

Parks nodded quickly and hurriedly left the office hiccuping wildly with fear.
