"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry! I was looking at my toe that I stubbed this morning making sure it's fine because it still hurts. I'm sorry, did I hurt you? I didn't mean to if I did! Please te-"

"Anne I'm okay! You just bumped into me"

"Okay good."

We proceeded with our days, and after school he asked me something that shocked me.

"Hey I'm going downtown today after school to get some food. I was wondering if you would like to come?" Gilbert said running up to me as I was about to walk home.

"Yes of course!" I said walking towards him.

•time skip to their "date"•

This "date" was going just as planned. We were having fun. She was laughing at all of my jokes. It was just an overall good time. Then we walked right into billy and his crew. Anne was looking at dresses through a store window when they walked up.

"Yo gilbert my boi" he said walking up to me.

"Hi!" I said trying to keep he conversation short. I mean this was my valuable time with Anne anyways! Then Anne walked up to me and said "okay let's get food now."

"Ew why the hell are you hanging out with that orphaned dog?!?!" He said.

"Why don't you just mind your own business?" I said walking away with Anne.

We had a pretty good date. I don't think she likes me though. But it was nice to spend time as friends. We were having a good time at Starbucks when she got a text.

Marilla: where are you?!!?!

Anne: oh sorry I forgot to tell you I made a friend today and we went downtown

Marilla: where with who

Anne: well I made three friends Diana, ruby, and Gilbert I'm hanging with Gilbert at Starbucks right now

Marilla: hmm come home before dark please. And don't go to anyone's house before I talk to their parents.

Anne: yes marilla 😒

Geez! Marilla is so protective! I can't just enjoy some time with friends without her freaking on me. This afternoon with Gilbert is boisterous! God I'm having such a wonderful time. It was getting dark and I checked my phone and it said 7:30 shit I should be getting home.

"Bye Gilbert I got to get home!"

"Do you want me to walk you? I like in the neighborhood"

"Sure that would be splendid" I said

We walked for a little while, and we got to my house. I insisted that he came inside because I would love him to meet marilla and Jerry and Matthew! He agreed and we walked inside.

Anne: DIANA

Diana: yes Anne?

A: I need help

D: with what?

A: so I just hung out with Gilbert for a few hours today and it was so fun!

D: and?

A: I'm pretty sure I like him...

D: oh no...

A: what?

D: well ruby likes him, and she was telling me all night long yesterday how on Friday she was going to ask him out under the cherry blossom trees outside the school.

A: fuck

D: I'm sure it will be fine though. Just try not to act like you like him around her okay?

A: k

The rest of the night I scrolled through Instagram until I found one account. @ gblythe
I followed him, and accidentally liked one of his posts from 2 years ago! Damnit I threw my phone across the room screaming! I didn't mean to do that! Now he will think I'm a stalker! Skskskkskskskskskksksk!

"My goodness Anne what is the matter" marilla said walking into my room

"Nothing" I said

"Sure Anne" she said walking out of the room.

Hahah! Anne liked one of my old pics. She's probably freaking out. Well whatever. I kind of stalked her Instagram for a while MAKING SURE not to like one of her old posts. After I was done with that I opened wattpad and starting reading some random stories until I fell asleep.

We sat on a blanket and looked up at the stars. "These stars look exactly like your freckles" I said kissing the red head on the cheek. She giggled. She turned and kissed me on the lips. I kissed back. We kissed for a while under the stars. He tongue slipping into my mouth a few times. "I love you anne shirley cuthbert" I said.  "I love you too gilbert blythe"

I decided to go to bed. I was getting really tired. I plugged in my phone and fell asleep.

We were lying on a blanket under the stars eating hot Cheetos and drinking coke. The stars were pretty tonight. So was his face. He looked at me. "God you are so beautiful Anne" he said looking me in the eyes "as for you" I said in return. I wanted to kiss him but I was too nervous. I mean it's not like we are dating. "These stars look exactly like your freckles" he said looking at me. I giggled then got the courage to kiss him. I have never kissed anyone so I don't really know what I'm doing. I looked him in the eye and moved my face closer to him. I kissed him and he kissed back. I slipped my tongue into his mouth a few times. Then we pulled away. "I love you anne Shirley cuthbert." He said. "I love you too gilbert Blythe" I said.

HEYYYYY! I hoped you liked the longer chapter! Anyways I will be posting once every day so stay tuned for that. I might post again tonight idk. Also if I start a different story will you guys request what story you would want? Anyways have a nice day/night! Also this just hit 1000 words! Yay! Love you! Byeee!
