*3rd Person POV*
"Mummy can you read me a bedtime story?" Lily asked.
"Sure thing sweetheart," Liz replied gently.
"No mum, sing me a lullaby first." Luke demanded.
"Hey now be patient," Liz chuckled.
It was 9pm, Luke and Lily's bedtime. They both got into bed in their shared room. Half of it painted blue, indicating Luke's side of the room. The other half was painted a lavender purple, which was Lily's side.
"Mum! I want you to sing me a lullaby!" Luke screeched.
"No! Mum read me a bedtime story!" Lily pleaded.
"Well do you know what I'm not going to do either until you two sort yourselves out." Liz replied while exiting their bedroom.
"See it's all you fault! I never get what I want!" Lily yelled.
"Me? It's your fault with you pretty ponies and princesses!" Luke shot back.
"Fine then, be like that," Lily said, quite upset.
"I will," Luke smirked.
Lily lay down in her bed, and quietly sobbed.
After a while she felt a hand on her shoulder.
"What's up Lily?" Luke asked, rubbing his eyes indicating he had just woke up.
"Nothing," Lily sniffed.
"I'm sorry TeddyBear," Luke said, calling her the nickname he had given her.
"It's alright Penguin," Lily said.
"I love you TeddyBear," Luke said while giving her a hug.
"I love you too Penguin," Lily said, returning the hug.
"Now let's go to sleep! I heard mum say we might go to the zoo tomorrow," he said, gleaming.
Lily chuckled and snuggled up to her small plush penguin, while Luke did the same with his teddy bear.
