#19 || Don't Leave

Age: 16/17/19

*Lily's POV*

As I was walking to the library, I noticed a few boys looking at me, whispering and laughing to each other.

I shuffled away from them and hid at the back of the library, where I saw Calum and Luke.

I greeted Calum with a kiss and sat down next to him.

"Are you alright?" Luke said, sympathetically.

"Yeah...why...?" I asked, weirded out by him.

"Have you not heard the rumours?" he stuttered.

I looked at Calum and saw that he had bloodshot eyes.

"What's up babe?" I ask immediately.

"People said that you cheated on me with Gregg Lowry, but obviously I didn't believe them," he explained.

"But why are you crying?" I ask.

"Because we're going on tour," he says.

"WHAT!?!"

I couldn't believe it. All year me, Luke and Calum had made plans about what we were going to do over the summer and now they just leave to go on tour. I mean I'm so happy for them and I don't want to be selfish.

"Yeah... After Louis Tomlinson tweeted us. A lot more people stated to listen to our covers and stuff and they asked us to be their opening acts on their Take Me Home tour," Luke said, also nearly crying.

I embraced them both in a tight hug and said, "When are you leaving?"

"Tomorrow." Calum said.

What the actual fuck.

"Does mum and dad and Joy and Andrew and Mali and Jack and Ben know?" I ask.

"Yeahh......they kinda were the first ones to find out."

That's when it me.

They're going to be gone for most of the coming year and I have no other friends.

"So you're just going to leave me for a year?" I ask, my voice weak.

"NO! No!" Calum panicked.

"We're not leaving you we are just trying to reach our dreams," Luke says, trying to avoid the main point of the conversation.

"Okay," I mumble and walk to the other end of the library and go back to reading 'Paper Towns'.

I know that I'm being selfish but I mean...its my brother and boyfriend, what do you expect?

I'm such a bad sister and girlfriend why do they even treat me as nicely as they do?

After 20 minutes, the school bell rings indicating the end of the last day of school also over.

I put my headphones and listen to Lana Del Ray.

When I get back home and I run straight to my room and go to sleep

A few hours later, I get shook by somebody.

"What?" I groan.

"Are you coming watch us rehearse?" A voice says, sounding like Calum.

I always watched them rehearse.

"Erm...yeah...I guess," I said coughing to stop myself from crying.

"Hey hey don't start crying babe," he kisses my lips, "Wipe those tears and come and rock out!" He smiles.

I'm going to miss him so much.

We walk downstairs hand in hand and I sit down on the beanbag chair ad wait for them to start singing.

"Within a minute I was all packed up," they start playing a new song I've never heard.

After they finish, I decide to clap and wipe my eyes since I started crying.

"Guys that was so good!"

Michael and Ashton both hug me taking turns to kiss my forehead.

"We going to miss you, especially you are like the baby sister I never got," Michael says.

"I'm a year younger than you," I laugh.

"Wait to ruin the moment," he says sarcastically while rubbing his knuckles on my head whilst holding me in a headlock.

Then Calum's phone rings.

"Hello, this is modest management."
He cups the mic and mouths modest.

"Put it on speaker," Luke says.

"Oh, hello." Calum says.

"We just called to remind you that there will be cars coming to your houses at 6am sharp to take you to the airport. Have you picked who you are bringing with you on tour?"

"Pardon?" Calum says sounding confused.

"Remember we told you; you were allowed to bring one person each on tour with you," he reminds.

Everyone looks shocked including me.

"Erm could I please call you in ten minutes," Calum says politely.

"Sure."

"So..." Ashton starts.

"Did you guys know that?" I ask.

"Yeah me and Ashton knew," Luke says.

I nod and ask who they were going to take with them.

"You," they both reply in sync.

"WHAT!?" I scream.

"Yep," they smirk.

"Ya lyin," I accuse.

"Nope!"

"Oh my goodness I love you so much but are you sure you want me to go with you I mean that's your time to travel the world and then I'm just going to be there doing absolutely nothing," I say.

"Already sorted," Ashton smiles, "Me and Luke knew that you were going to say that and we also know you want to be a beautician when your older so we asked the main stylist on the tour if she could take you as an intern and she said yes!"

That's when my jaw literally dropped.

"I love you all so much like you don't understand how much," I say.

Then I look over to Calum.

"More time to spend with you," I say while pecking his lips.

"Yep, still not used to that," Luke says, cringing.

"Oh shut up!" Calum says and kisses me again causing us all to laugh.

Nothing could possibly ruin this moment right now.
