There's no one on the roof. Was this just a prank. No wait. It's another piece of paper, like the one I found in my room. Oh my god. What is up with this bitch?

I see you've brought some friends. So let's change up the game. You see Leoni, I brought some friends to. I think you're familiar with them. Also, we moved locations. You can only look at the scenery for so long you know. You'll find me and Pikachu in one of the classrooms. Be careful, if you find one of my little friends you're as good as dead. You have twenty minutes to find us. You're time starts now.

Connor stares at the note, I can sense the anger radiating off him. "Who the fuck do they think they are?" He roars.

"Calm down mood swings." Hannah places a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "This building is bigger than it looks. The only way we'll find them is if we split up."

"Are you out of your mind?" He cries. "What if something happens to one of us? We have to stay together." He turns to me. "You agree, don't you Leoni?"

"Hannah's right." I nod. "We need to split up."

He shakes his head. "You're insane. But I'll listen to you just this once."

Hannah smirks. "What do you know, you listened." The battle expression creeps across her face. "Now, let's kick some ass. Connor, go left. Leoni, you go right. I'll head to the ground floor."

Connor tosses me a Pokéball. It's blue and white with a wave like pattern. I recognise it almost immediately as a dive ball. "You're gonna need this if you end up in a battle."

"Thanks." I stow it away in my shoulder bag. As I take off across the rooftop, I scream over my shoulder. "Bet you I'll be the first to find this hooligan."

Dashing through the hallways, I think about how different this could've been if I'd just taken Pikachu to Brooke's with me. Then whoever kidnapped him wouldn't have had the opportunity. I'm never letting him out of my sight again. I slam, head first, into another person. "Fuck's sake Connor. Hannah told you to go right."

"Oh yeah, because I look so much like a guy don't I. Thanks Leoni." A familiar voice can be heard in front of me. That was a bit of a posh way to phrase that wasn't it? A simple 'I know that voice' would've done.

I look up. Honestly, I can't believe my eyes. "Brooke?" What the actual hell is she doing here? Literally an two hours ago I almost broke her nose. Anyone with any sense wouldn't be looking for me right now, they'd be eating their body weight in McDonalds. "What are you doing here?" I look away from her snottily.

"What do you think I'm doing here?" She grins. "I couldn't let you beat the shit out of these bitches by yourself, I enjoy a good fight just as much as you do psycho."

"That doesn't answer the question dumbass."

She chuckles. "Of course it does. I'm coming with you."

"What?"

"I'm so glad you agree."
