:Chapter 9:

In an hour you would meet up with Nao, Marina and Ota at the matchmaking party.

You hopped up from the couch you sat on all day and walked into your bedroom.

You searched through the closet as you sighed, of course you weren't going to wear anything too fancy.

You just took out an outfit that you would usually wear on a normal day.

The one, the only, oversized hoodie and ripped jeans.

You didn't really care for the party and just wanted to experience whatever it was.

You changed into the clothes that you picked out and made your way out of your apartment with all your stuff ready.

You walked down the stairs of the building and quietly made your way to the location of the matchmaking party as the bright stars in the dark sky reflected through your eyes.

You took a seat next to Ota as you looked around the room.

You finally reached your destination, and unlucky for you, rain was the first thing to greet you on your way.

But then luck gives you a chance, you accidentally bump into Daichi who was around with an umbrella with him.

But we don't have time to talk about that.

Back to the matchmaking party.

You sighed as you already noticed some people, let's be specific.

Some guys already looking at you.

You laid your head on your arms as everyone talked amongst themselves.

It was exactly as you thought it would be like.

"Y/n-Chan, what are you doing just boring around? Talk to someone" Ota poked your arms and said with a smile as you sighed and pushed yourself up to sit straight.

"I don't have time for this..." You mumbled but Ota heard you.

"Then, why did you come here?" Ota pouted and said nicely to you as you took a deep breath.

No one noticed your conversation though some guys were still eyeing you.

"I don't know, I wanted to experience what it was like, and it was exactly as I expected" You sighed cupping your own cheeks.

"Just stay, you don't have to do anything" Ota said with a smile as you eyed her weirdly before letting out a loud sigh.

"Tsk tsk..." you let out before sighing again.

"Fine" you said as Ota's smile grew wider.

She patted your back and you just went with it.

"Ota, you came from Ehime Prefecture? Then you had to break up with your boyfriend when you moved here" a dude said to Ota

"No, I've never had a boyfriend" Ota said, You sat mindlessly though you were listening to the conversation.

The boys cheered and said things amongst themselves as they heard that Ota had never had a boyfriend, which disgusted you.
