(Skylar's pov)
Skylar: fiance.
Six and Bethlisk looked thrilled but Bazrig looked beyond pissed off.
(Play the song with the eye showing)
Blood red flames flared to life in the eye sockets off Bazrig's helmet. His armor slowly started to grow inside which lead me to believe he too was growing in size. As he grew he got off the throne he was on. He grew large black bat wings that complimented his armor pretty well. My body was frozen stiff as I watched the king of the demons get bigger and more powerful. His sword started to be surrounded by flames the same color as the flames in his helmets eye sockets.
(Bazrig's pov)
As I powered up to slaughter the human who dared to try to take away my future queen I saw the human freeze up. At this, I smirked because he knew his fate. I then had an Idea.
Bazrig: If you leave now and end the engagement I will let you walk away unscathed.
(Skylar's pov)
After hearing his offer I looked to Bethlisk to see her reaction. She had fear in her eyes.
{Why is she scared I might have to kill him?}
Six: Bazrig you should know that she does not wish to be with you.
Bazrig: Silence.
(Bethlisk's pov)
When Bazrig made the offer one of the things I had feared was starting to become reality.
{I don't want him to die but I wish to stay with him because he was the first human to not immediately turn down my sister's offer. That and he is pretty cute too.}
I then gasped in fear as he went to reach out and grab me.
(Skylar's pov)
As I saw Bethlisk's look of fear as Bazrig went to grab her I jumped in front of her and slashed at Bazrig's hand. He pulled he had back to see he was missing one of his five fingers.
Bazrig: I thought you would be smarter than that.
{Shit what did I get myself into.}
Skylar: How about a deal?
Bazrig: I'm listening.
Skylar: We fight if I win you must join us on our journey to Mythleserine and let Lady Bethlisk choose who she wishes to be with.
Bazrig: And if I win?
Skylar: You may take Lady Bethlisk as your bride and I shall serve under you until I die.
Bazrig: Why would I want you to serve me?
Skylar: Have you ever heard of the Grim.
Bazrig: Yes he is the most feared human general in the world why do you ask?
Skylar: Well he is here.
Bazrig: What where?
He looked around pointing at the beastkin guards who shook their heads no. Then he realized who I was referring to.
Bazrig: Correct me if I'm wrong but are you the Grim, the human general.
He was clearly worried. As he waited for my answer I looked at Six and Bethlisk and smirked at the fact that they were also looking worried as to what my answer would be.
Skylar: Yes, yes I am. It's a pleasure to meet you king of demons.
He shrunk down knowing that if we were to fight too many innocents would be harmed.
Bazrig: I forfeit.
(Six's pov)
I looked at the man who we traveled with amazed they would send someone so important to gather us.
Bethlisk: Skylar Is what you said your true feelings or were you just not thinking clearly?
Six: He just sliced off one of Bazrig's fingers protecting you and you doubt his feelings.
Skylar: I am not entirely sure right now but I will give you an answer when I find out.
Bethlisk: Then I will wait until then.
Bazrig: Come let us get to Mythleserine.
Six, Skylar, and Bethlisk: Right.
(Ha thought I was gonna have a fight scene didn't ya well too bad. Also, the title that Skylar has is a big deal to the four kings. He was given it after slaughtering a small army of 1000 beastkin and demons. see ya next chapter.)
