The Gathering of Kings part 1

(Hey guys and gals I'm back with another chapter for the story. Thanks for the support. 10 votes Hooray! Shut up I know that it is a microscopic amount compared to some other books but I feel really accomplished.

Just in case you are wondering we will be going back to Zassephy(A.K.A Snow) and Scarr after a little. I just wish to get this into the book so everyone understands certain things that will be said later on because I don't want to do flash backs because they are a hassle for me

(Skylar's pov)

I was riding towards the Beastkin capital of Dex. I sensed that someone was following me from behind so I stopped and got off of my horse.

Skylar: Who's there?

???: . . .

Skylar: Come out I know you are there. I just wish to know why you are following me.

???:Why are you here human are you on a suicide mission?

Skylar: No, but I have an urgent announcement for the 'king' of the beastkin.

???: Drop your weapons knight and I will lead you to our leader.

Skylar: Sorry but I wish to have some form of protection.

???: Keep the shield.

I sigh as I drop my swords and bow. 

Skylar: Are you happy now?

???: More or less.

Skylar: So are you going to come out and take me to your 'king'.

???: I guess I will.

I heard a thud behind me. I turned around and saw the girl I was chatting with.(picture above)

???: Follow me.

She then turned around and proceeded to walk with me on my horse following closely.

(5 hrs. later in the Beastkin capital of Dex)

Skylar: Thank you for bringing me here.

???: No Problem. Bye.

Skylar: Bye.

After we said good bye we went our separate ways. After 30 minutes of walking and rude gestures directed towards me I find the 'kings' palace.

Beastkin Guard(BKG): State your business human.

Skylar: I have urgent news for your 'king'.

BKG: very well but watch what you say.

Skylar: Of course.

(In the Beastkin 'king's' palace throne room)

???:I am the Leaders Assistant. She will be here shortly.

Skylar: Thank you. May I get something to drink that isn't going to kill me?

LA(leaders assistant):Believe it or not but we only retaliate when attacked. We never start a fight but we will finish it.

(Quick lesson time. 70% of the human soldiers in the Prime Preservers were farm hands and untrained civilians. The elves decided that to win the war to open schools that trained soldiers. These 'schools' were ran by the elves. The soldiers to be called the schools 'academies from hell'. This is because the elves made it almost impossible to succeed but those who did were the absolute best of the best. 5% of the human soldiers were fully trained soldiers. The last 25% were special in the sense that they were war veterans who in order to join the war were augmented to the point of being sentient A.i.)
