Chapter 23

*ALEKSANDRA'S P.O.V.*

*Tuesday 24th August, 7am*

Yesterday was just a normal day at work, except that it was just me and the old ladies, since Sophia -the other young girl in the café in case I haven't mentioned yet- had a day off.

Now I was eating breakfast. I had alredy tken a shower and after eating I need to do my hair and make-up and then I'm ready to go.

At 7.40 I was finally ready and I took my handbag, put my purse, phone and keys ther and walked out of the door, locking it behind me. I started walking to the café.

I arrived there, put on my apron and said good morning to everyone. Soon Sophia walked in too. After she had said good morning to everyone else, she walked towards me.

"Aleksandra, can I talk to you for a second?" she asked. I nonned and walked behind her to the back room.

"Okay, now I hope you are completely honest with me, and tell me, is there any chance that you could've be in the news yesterday?" she asked looking me straight in the eyes. You furrowed your eyebrows and thought about it. Then my eyes widened when I realized, that me and Ni must have been noticed by paparazzi when we went out.

"I-I... Yes there is a chance" I quietly whispered.

"Was it what I think it was about?" I asked.

"If you think it was that dating thing, then yes" she said.

"Shit" I cursed under my breath.

"Well is it true?" she asked.

"Yes it is true. I am dating the one and only Niall Horan" I said and she smiled at me. She then hugged at me and whispered into my ear:

"I haven't told you, yet, but my last name is Smith. Ringing any bells?" I thought about it for a while before I realized what she meant.

"Do you mean that you are dating Liam Payne?" I asked.

"Yup. Uhh.. Could I come over today after work? We could make dinner together and talk about all this" she said.

"Yeah, sure! I don't have any plans for today anyways" I said and smiled.

"Okay, good. Well let's get to work then" she said and just then the delivery for today arrived. We both headed to help unload the load.

*Same day, at 5pm.*

We had just got off work and we were taking off our aprons.

"So, do you usually take a bus home or what?" Sophia asked.

"I usually walk. My apartment is only like 15 minutes walk away from here! I said.

"Okay, well I have a car cause I live like 20 minutes drive away, so we can use that" she said.

"Okay, sounds good" I said and nodded. We walked out and went to her car. Then I told her the directions to my apartment. She parked the car and we walked inside and up the stairs to my apartment. I unlocked the door and we went inside.

"So, this is where I live. It's not much but I like it" I said when I took off my shoes and put my handbag to the floor.

"It looks nice. Really nice and cosy" Sophia said, looking around.

"Thanks" I said, walking to the kitchen area.

"Do you want something to drink?" I asked after washing my hands.

"Just water please" she said and sat down at the table. I nodded and poured two big glasses of water. Then walked to her and sat down too.

"So, how long have you been dating Niall?" she asked, sipping her water.
