*LOUIS' P.O.V.*

*11 pm, same night*

"Night Niall, see you soon" I said and closed the door of Niall's apartment behind me. The other boys had left a bit earlier but I had stayed until now, watching some TV show Niall and I loved.

I was about to press the button for the elevator when I heard voices from above me. It sounded like someone was crying. Knowing there was only one apartment above Niall's -and it was Aleksandra's- I decided to walk up the stairs to check if the voice actually came from there.

When I got in front of her door, I indeed heard sobbing from inside. I decided to check up on her and rang the door bell. I heard shuffling from the inside and then the door opened, revealing a swollen, red eyed Aleksandra, who was sniffling.

She was wearing only a tank top and some pajama shorts. I was able to see that her shoulders, arms and legs were covered in scars.

She lifted her head up and looked embarrassed and confused when she saw me.

"L-Louis? What are you doing here?" she asked.

"I heard someone crying when I was leaving from Niall's and I heard it came from here so I wanted to see if you were okay, which you don't seem to be" I said.

"I- uh.. I'm fine Louis" she said sniffling and wiping her eyes.

"I can see you're not fine. May I come in?" I asked kindly. She slowly nodded in response and moved out of the way to let me in. She then closed the door.

"You have a really cozy apartment" I said and looked around.

"Thanks" she said quietly.

"Uh.. Sit down" she said and motioned towards the table. I sat down and she did too.

"So, may I ask why you're crying?" I asked looking at her.

"I.. It was just a bad dream" she shrugged.

"Can you tell me what it was about?"

"Uh.. It was.. I was already older in the dream and I was standing on a porch with a man who was my husband but I couldn't see his face. We were watching the two kids running around the yard. I was the kids' biological mum" she said and started crying again. I was a bit confused why she was crying, cause the dream seemed nice to me.

"I.. I don't quite understand why you're crying. It doesn't sound bad to me.. Could you explain to me?" I asked quietly.

"It's beacuse.. I mean.. That dream always gets to me, because I can never get pregnant.." she said looking at the table and fiddling with her fingers.

"I-I'm so sorry to hear that... May I ask when did you get to know that? And do the doctors know why or is it some unexplainable thing?" I asked, trying to be as polite as possible since it seemed to be a touchy subject to her, no wonder though.

"Umm.. I.. I got to know that in August 2011 so exactly 2 years ago. And.. uh.. they do know why. It's not unexplainable at all" she said. Was it anger that I heard in her voice when she said the last part. I got up and went to give her a big hug when she started crying again.

"I'm so sorry for you. Uhh... Would you tell me what the reason is? You don't have to if you don't want to of course" I said, still hugging her tight.

"I.. Uhh.. If you promise not to tell anybody. At least not yet, then I guess I could tell you if you don't have a sensitive stomach" she said.

"I promise I won't tell anybody. Not even the boys if you don't want me to. And no, I don't have a sensitive stomach" I said and sat down again as she did so too.
