Chapter 20

*ALEKSANDRA'S P.O.V.*

*August 21st, Saturday afternoon*

It has been exactly two weeks since my date with Niall. I hadn't seen him since, but we've been talking on the phone and texting each other a lot. I got the job from he coffee shop around the corner, and that's where I am at the moment. I have work from Monday to Friday from 8am 'til 4pm and on Saturdays from 10am 'til 5pm. It's 1 o'clock and I'm currently on my lunch break. I still have three and a half hours of work after the break and then I'm going to go home, and have just a lazy evening at home.

I have been loving my new job. I love communicating with people, and it's nice to be here, when every customer doesn't know what has happened to you, so they're not treating you any differently. And I also get to be in peace and not every other person is going to ask you about the memory that you have been trying so hard to push to the back of your mind. So, yeah, I love working here and the other employees have taken me in very well. The other employees are all really nice and polite, but there's one girl who is only a year older than me and we have become good friends.

*Same evening, 5.15pm*

Finally my workday was over and I was currently walking up the stairs to my own apartment. I got to my door and opened it and stepped inside. I took off my shoes and dropped my handbag to the ground. I walked to the kitchen and saw that it needed to be cleaned. So I decided that I would clean the kitchen and then allow myself a peaceful lazy night.

After the kitchen was cleaned, it was about 6pm. I decided that after the week of hard working, I deserved a nice, hot bubble bath. I walked to the bathroom to run the water. I then took off my work clothes and got into the bath tub. I immediately felt the hot water relaxing my tight muscles and I sinked in until only my head was showing.

I enjoyed the hot, relaxing bath until it started getting colder, so I started to wash myself. Then I got out and wrapped a towel around my body. I dried my skin, and blowdried my hair. Then I went to the bedroom to find a pair of pajamas.

After I had got dressed, I decided that I would order Chinese as dinner. While I waited for the food to arrive, I went to choose a movie that I could watch. I decided to watch Black Swan. I loved the movie so much and even though I've seen it like at least 30 times, I still don't get bored watching it again. It was an amazing movie, very intriguing and slightly scary.

So I opened my laptop, and put the movie in. Then I heard my doorbell ringing and I went to open the door. It was my food, so I paid the man and walked into the kitchen. I took a fork with me and went to sit on the armchair in the livingroom. I had my computer infront of me and I started the movie and ate while watching it. I finished my dinner and put the container to the floor next to me and took a more comfortable position on the armchair and continued watching the movie.

I was so concentrated on watching that I jumped when my phone suddenly went off. I paused the movie and answered the phone.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hey Al! It's me, Niall" he said in his thick irish accent that I loved so much.

"Hey Niall, how are you?"

"I'm good! How are you? You sounded a bit frightened when you answred the phone. Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, everything's great! I was just watching a movie and didn't expect you to call, so I got a bit scared by the sudden noise. So yeah, I'm good, nothing bad has happened!" I said and laughed a little. Niall laughed too at the other end of the phone.

"Okay, well good that nothing has happened. What movie were you watching btw?"

"I was watching Black Swan. It's one of my all time favourite movies."

"Okay! I don't tink I've ever seen it myself. I've heard about it though."

"Well we need to watch it sometime then!"

"Yeah, I guess we do! Well there was an actual reason why I called you as well."

"Really? Well, what is it?"

"I-I was wondering, do you have any plans for tomorrow?"

"Ummm.. No, I don't. Why?"

"Well... I wanted to know if you would like to go out with me? Like on a proper date?" he nervously asked.

"Yeah, I'd love to!" I said smiling.

"Really? That's amazing! I'll pick you up at 7, okay?"

"Yeah, okay!"

"Okay, good. Well I'll see you tomorrow, then!"

"Yeah, see you!"

"Bye!"

"Byee!"

I ended the call and continued watching the movie. After the movie ended, I checked the clock and saw it was half nine. It wasn't that late yet and I had a free day tomorrow, so I decided to watch another movie. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets this time.

After that movie had ended as well, I decided to go to sleep, so I would have time to run some groceries tomorrow before my date with Niall.
