(Time has skipped to May)
Well we have 3 weeks tell summer is coming and Tiffany been mostly hanging out with my mom the last couple weeks and I don’t understand why. Whenever she at my house she doesn’t come see me, she doesn’t call me her flame baby anymore and I am starting to worry me. Right now we are getting pulled into an assembly and we usually don’t have one this time of year. But when we entered and I took a seat in the top far corner where hardly anyone sits and I just sit there waiting. I saw Tiffany and so I watched her, I think she felt me watching her because she looked up and met my eyes and she quickly looked away and left.
“Good afternoon everyone today we have our own police here to talk to you guys and at the end have a surprise for someone special. Now here Police officer Drew” Principal said and handed the mic off to Drew
“Hi everyone today my partners and I wanted to tell you a little bit about what we do, well more like show you. As you all know we lost a member in September” my heart shank because I knew who he was talking about and he was my dad “And well he was a great guy, he loved his family, he loved to serve, and most of all he loved making movies. He wanted to make a video of how are life’s work and what we put on the line “ he said and the movie started.
“What we do to keep you safe” I heard my dad voice and I started to cry, I saw my brother coming up to me and sitting by me. I also saw my mom coming up to what she was doing her? I asked myself the came and sat by me and I just broke down because I miss him so much. I didn’t pay attention to it really in tell the end
“Hi my name is David Skylight I wanted to say My beautiful wife Claire I love you and my son Ciren take care of your mom and sister you’re the man of the house when I am away. And to my amazing daughter Abigail I love you and I am proud of who you are and this video was my idea but it was you who was my inspiration. I love all you guys” my dad said and blew us a kiss.
“Ok as you know that was David our best police officer who has been here in this police in a while. But will the Skylight family come down here please?” Drew said and we got up and I was still crying and when we were in front of everyone
“Ok Abigail your probably wondering what going on why are we here and your mom Right?” he asked and I nodded
“Well because before your dad past my he rest in peace talked to be chief of police and he never got an answer. Well we have the answer and we are here to give it to you.” Drew said I looked at him confused
“Ladies and gentlemen this girl right here Abigail wanted to be a police officer just like her dad and her dad talked to our chief of police and asked him if she could interring for him. Well our boss the Chief is granting his wish You Abigail Skylight are our new inter/ recruited. And since you can’t be with your dad our very own best girl police officer is taking you under her wing. Embry please come on out” Drew said and I had tears coming down me face because I talked to him about this and I just so happy that it actually coming true. I saw Embry walk out of the gathered up police office and walk out to me
“Welcome to my team Abigail your dad would be so proud” she said I started to cry and my family pulled me into a hug, and with that the assembly ended. My mom and brother wrapped their arms around me and hugged me. After school got out I went and visited my dad grave
“Thank you daddy, I really miss you and I promise not to let you down” I said and kissed his headstone. I went back home and crawled into bed. I must of fell asleep because the next thing I know is I am getting woke up by Tiffany.
“Hey congratulations on the internship” she said and tried kissing my lips but I move to where she got my cheek.
“Thanks” I mumbled
“What’s wrong?” she asked
“Really ever since March you hardly talk to me, avoid me at all cost, and you never look at me anymore” I said and started to cry even more she wrapped her arms around me
“I know I was horrible but something happen I do not like it and I didn’t know how to tell you” she said
“What?” asked
“Don’t freak but my family and I are going to Hawaii for we could get to know our new family, my oldest sister is getting married and so the day after school gets out I leave and it’s my ex-girlfriends brother who she marrying” Tiffany said
“Its fine why would I freak out” I asked
“Because I will be with my ex” she said
“I trust you Taffy and I know you wouldn’t do anything to ruin this” I said she smiled when I said Taffy
“I promise to call and skype as much as I can” she said and laid me down hovering over me
“I will keep you to that promise” I said and connected our lips. I know we can make it I just know we can
3RD P.O.V
During the time apart something happens to Tiffany and she doesn’t know how to tell Abigail what happen. Tiffany kept her promise and at night they would talk tells 4 in the morning but Abigail knew something was up but she wasn’t going to push Tiffany. Abigail was loving the internship and being part of a police officer, she learned that when she gets out of training she will be a full of police officer K9 unite. Yes Abigail has a drug sniffing dog she takes her everywhere. What will happen in Junior year?
