With a look of disbelieve on his face, his eyes wandered from me to the nametag next to the painting, back to me and finally looked at his paper again. "Yeah, thats mine." I said looking to my shoes. He didnt react, he just stood there. He honestly looked a bit silly.
"Thomas? Hello? Earth to Thomas please." He woke up from his daydream. "Huh? Oh yes hi. Sorry." "Don't apologise for drifting off into your own mind. It happens all the time to creative people." That made him smile.
"What happened?" His eyes turned serious and concerned. "What do you mean?" He came a bit closer to me and again said "What happened?" I didn't ditectly respond. My eyes wandered across the painting. "I don't know. I just felt like painting this. I haven't seen war nor darkness, and yet it feels so femilliar, like someone told me about it."
All he did was standing there, disbelieve radiating all over his body. He just stood there, minutes long, staring at the painting. And for a second I thought he came back to earth, thats when he fell into my arms. He passed out. This caught me by suprise and couldn't keep my balance. We fell with a harsh bang on the ground disturbing the peacefull silence of the art gallery. All eyes fixed on me and the male on top of me. When I realised what happened I let out a scream and all the people gathered around us. I was in shock of what just happened and just couldn't move. His body started twitching and I started to freak out. The warmth of everyone standing around us and the heavy man on top of me became too much and thus I closed my eyes to focus on breathing.
When I opened my eyes again, the people who where standing around where sent away and Thomas was no longer on top of me. I also wasn't laying on the floor anymore. Instead I was laying on a gurney. A man who I figured to be a docter since he was wearing some sort of labcoat bend over me and started asking me questions. I didn't bother to listen to them and instead asked about Thomas. "He is going to be okay, they already took him to the hospital." The docter responded. "Now could you answer a few questions for me please?" I nodded, but instantly another question came up and I interrupted him again. "What happened, whats wrong with him?" The doctor sighed and said: "If I answer your question will you promise for that to be the last interruption untill I finished asking you my questions?" Without hesitation I nodded and he started telling. "Thomas is registered to be a patient for his epilepcia and trauma. He must have experienced some sort of shock which caused the attack." Instantly I realised what I had done. "He will be allright. Now what happened?"
And thats when I told him everything. Not leaving a single detail behind, praying it would help the doctors to help Thomas.
