I was shocked and tried to keep my balance, but this was impossible after I took a step back and tripped over some sort of whire. As I fell, the man's face turned into a concered one and tried to help me get up. Still shocked I take his hand and struggle to get up.
"Are you okay? Do you need anything? How do you feel, lightheadded? Do you want water or anything?" His black eyes turneds brown and full of concern when he bombarded me with the questions.
"I'm fine, I really am. I was just shocked about your appearance, you look like someone I feel like I used to know." "Thats verry specific, how are you not sure if you know the person I look like?" "Long story..." He looked at me from head to toe and said "How about you tell me that long story over a cup of coffee after you have showed me where the damn entrance of this building is." I laughed and pointed at the door which was 7 meteres away from us, just behind him. His face turned red, like not a blush, I'm talking tomato red. "I'm Karl by the way, and thanks too, I'm not that clear headed in the early mornings." Its 10 am but okay... "So 15.15 today this spot?" His eyes got a spark of hope. "Sure, do I have to explain how doors work now or shall I explain that then?" At first he didn't get the joke but then it hit him. "Verry funny, its not that since I can't find them I don't know how to use them either." On that note he walked away towards the door.
The door said "trekken", I immedeatly knew he didn't know what that meant since he walked face first into the door, trying to push it open. "It sais pull!" I yell at him and full of shame he finally succeeded to open the door. After he was out of sight the realisation came to me that Sila had already left. I look at my phone and got a notification. It was a message from her and it said: "I'll leave you two lovebirds to bond." I giggle and walk to my class.
After a boring hour of german I walked to physics. "SSOOooOo who is he? How did it go? What did he say? Why did you faint?" I tried to sush her. "Gees so many questions, calm down. His name is Karl, he is new here and asked me where the entrance was." Her eyes still looked curious about the other unanswered questions. "He also asked me out but please stay quiet." She tried not to make a peep but I could see that she was really exited. "But why did you faint?" We had already arrived at our class so I wasnt sure if I could just spill the fact that I had seen him in my dream. "So physics huh?" I turn around. Yup. Its Karl. I turn to Sila: "I'll tell you later." Then I turn to Karl. "Yes. You too?" "Indeed, how about we sit together?" I look at Sila and she winks back.
After we take a seat we take out our books the teacher starts talking. Halfway in the classhour as I am taking notes from the whiteboard I notice that Karl finally decided to write some stuff down too. As the dissapointment came, the thing he wrote was a note to me. Don't get me wrong, he is new and wants to get to know me but come on man, the teacher makes the tests way too hard and I need to study my ass of if I want to get an ok grade. I can't afford distraction from the lesson.
As I ignore the note and continue writing notes Karl nudges me and points at it. I look at him and write down on a paper: not now.
After a while we are allowed to work on our homework for the last 10 minutes of the class. I take a look at the note Karl had written earlier: I know this is a coward move to ask you this way but do you still want to go on a date with me?
The bell rang and I didn't know how fast I had to leave the room. I had to go to Sila and ask for help asap. I ran out of the classroom, leaving confused Karl alone.
