Who's Bunny?

Chapter 14

•~Izuku's P.O.V~•

'Midoriya-kun! Are you ok?!' Uraraka asked as I joined our lunch table.

'Yeah! I'm fine, really!' I replied, sitting down.

'You sure?' Shouto asked.

'Yeah! I just need to take it easy.' I smiled.

That seemed to reassure him. He smiled back as he ate his soba, well, more like slurped it up. Turns out we had a free period next. We finished our food and split up to go explore to school. Shouto and Shinso came with me. I held their hands as I pulled them along with me. They were called back by someone to help with something, so, I was alone. I didn't mind it though. It was peaceful. I made my way outside, taking in the fresh air as I walked across the lush green grass. I came to a halt when I saw someone sitting under a cherry tree.

"Who could that be?" I wondered, walking over to them.

As I neared, they came into my full view. It was Tetsutetsu!

'Tetsu?' I called out, startling the male.

He turned to me, tears in his eyes.

'What's wrong?!' I asked, slightly panicking.

I knelled down in front of him, bringing him into a hug. I place my chin on his head as he cried into my chest. I stroked his hair, trying to comfort him anyway I could.

'I... I confessed my... my feelings to my crush, but... they rejected me straight away.' Tetsutetsu said in between sobs.

I just hugged him tighter. He gripped onto my shirt as he cried. Out of natural habit, I started humming a small tune as I stroked his grey hair. He slowly stopped crying, only letting out small sobs.

'Are you okay, now?' I asked.

'Y-yeah. Thanks Midoriya.' Tetsutetsu said.

I let go and was about to stand up when I felt Tetustetsu tug on my shirt.

'Just a little longer, please?' He asked.

I just smiled and nodded, hugging him close. We stayed like that for a few more moments before letting go. I touched foreheads with him, closing my eyes.

'If you ever feel down, you can come to me.' I murmured.

I took my head away and smiled at him. He smiled back before planting a small kiss on my nose.

'Thanks again, Midoriya.' He said.

'N-no worries.' I replied, trying to calm my blush.

I I pulled my ears over my face, trying to hide it. I heard Tetsutetsu start laughing.

'You know,' he started. 'You're quite cute when your flustered.'

That didn't help my blush. It increased at his words.

'T-that's n-not true.' I stuttered, facing away from him.

'It is. Your adorable.' He replied, placing a hand on my head, petting me.

I enjoyed it when people did that. It felt nice. My blush subsided when I heard something off in the distance. My ears perked back up as I looked round, trying to pinpoint where that sound came from.

'What's wrong?' Tetsu asked.

'Did you hear anything just now?' I asked.

'No. Wait...' He paused, lifting his head to the sky. 'There's a strange smell in the air.'

I stood up, looking round. Nothing caught my eye. Though, there were distant sounds off in the background. That's when I heard it. The same sound.

"That's a bunny cry," I thought, pricking my ears. "No wonder Tetsu couldn't hear it. Wait, it sounds familiar."

I heard it again. It was saying something.

"Izuku! Where are you?!"

"Dad?! B-but how?!"

I opened my mouth, letting out my own bunny cry, saying "I'm here! At U.A."

"Son! Oh thank god you answered."

"Where are you?"

"Trapped at the rouges hideout in the forest. But that's not important right now. The rouges are attacking the town, looking for you."

"For me? But, how did they get into the town? They don't know ho- wait... you didn't tell them, did you?"

(A/n: There's a barrier that protects the town from outsiders)

"It was the only way to survive. To keep our family alive. Even your brother."

"But-"

"Just listen to me, Izuku. I've already warned Inko. You just need to find a place to hide. There's no telling what they'll do once they get their hands on you."

"...Ok dad. But, where could I go? I'm at U.A right now."

"Tell the teachers there. They should be able to help. I have to go now. Just hide somewhere secure."

"Ok. Bye."

I turned back to Tetsu who was in his own call. He just ended and turned to me.

'Rouges.' We said in unison.

We ran back into the school, searching round for a teacher. We ended up running into the staff room where the principle, All Might, Aizawa and Present Mic were.

'Rouges are attacking the town!' I said, gasping for breath.

'They've broken through the barrier.' Tetsutetsu said.

'Rouges?! But how could they get through? There's no way.' All Might murmured.

'They captured my dad and forced him to tell them how to get in.' I said.

'Dammit. Gather everyone outside the school,' Aizawa instructed. 'Mic, you go find Midnight. We'll need her help.'

They left the office, leaving me, Tetsu and Nezu.

'Dad said they're coming for me.' I said.

'If that's the case, we'll need somewhere you can hide,' Nezu said. 'Tetsutetsu. Take him to a safe place and keep guard. We don't know what these rouges will do to get what they want.'

'On it.' Tetsu nodded before grabbing my arm and running off to find a safe place to hide.
