•~Izuku's P.O.V~•
Lunch had finally finished and everyone was heading to class. Though, we didn't really know where to go.
'Good afternoon students. I'm your principle, Nezu. I'm aware that you do not know where your classes are. Please make your way to the stadium. The teachers there will sort you into your classes.' A voice spoke through the loud speaker.
We ventured through the large halls towards the stadium.
'I wonder who we'll be with!' Uraraka said, nervousness and excitement in her voice.
'Yeah. Just hope I'm with at least one friend.' I agreed.
We entered the stadium, seeing a lot of small bundles of people. We walked to the side of the stadium, keeping away from everyone. Chatter had filled the air as more and more people entered.
'Thank you all for waiting,' a voice spoke, making everyone turn to the stands to see a small white creature. 'Please make three straight lines. You'll be sorted shortly.'
A bunch of teachers entered the stadium as we all formed three lines. I was in the middle of the second one next to Uraraka and Iida. Minutes went by as the teachers sorted us. It came our turn. A cat hybrid with scrufy black hair, black clothes and a grey scarf came towards us.
'You three,' he started, making us all flinch. 'You'll be in my class. Go over to the group over there.'
He pointed behind him before walking off. I looked at both Uraraka and Iida before silently cheering with them. We walked over to the group the teacher pointed to.
'We're together!' Uraraka cheered, a large smile on her face.
'I'm glad. I didn't want to be alone with people I don't know.' I sighed in relief.
I noticed Shouto, Tokoyami, Momo, Tsuyu and Mina. I waved them over.
'Yay! We're all in the same class!' Mina cheered, jumping in the air.
We chatted for a little while as the teachers sorted the rest out. Finally, we were taken out of the stadium area and led down the hallways before stopping at a rather large door labeled A-1.
'Enter and find your name. That'll be you seat for the year.' The teacher said, opening the door.
Everyone flooded in, searching round for their seat. I found mine and sat down. Katsuki sat in front of me. I was going to say something, but, decided against it. The door closed as the teacher walked to the front centre of the room.
'I'll be your homeroom teacher, Aizawa. And as a start, you'll all be taking a little test to see where your at in terms of learning.' The teacher said.
Most people groaned at that as Aizawa came round, giving everyone a test each. He stood back at the front of the room and started up a timer before climbing into a yellow sleeping bag.
'You have an hour. Start.' He said before falling down, asleep.
I looked at the sheet, eyes scanning over the questions.
"This should be simple enough." I thought, answering more and more questions.
I was blasting through them till I reached the last few questions.
45. What's 4*9-2x+zy(13-y)/12 if x=3, y=7 & z=4?
"Hmm. First, the brackets which equals 6. Next, Z x Y which is 28. 28 x 6 = 168. And 4 x 9 is 36. 2 x 3 is 6. 36 - 6 is 30. 168 + 30 = 198. 198/12 = 16.5. Done! That was easier then I thought." I thought with a smile, jotting the answer down.
46. 20:74 into five equal ratios
"Easy. 10:37. 40:148. 60.222..." I continued to jot down answer after answer, bolting through the questions.
*Tick Tock Tick Tock*
The clock continued to tick by as time passed. What felt like hours ended in a few moments as the timer buzzed. I just finished the last question, letting out a sigh of relief as I sat my pencil down and relaxed into my chair, ears laying flat.
'Alright. Pass your tests to the front for me to collect.' Aizawa groaned as he woke up.
I passed my test down the row. Aizawa collected them all and started marking. Everyone started moving round, chatting.
'How'd you think you went?' Uraraka asked me.
'Pretty well, actually. How about you?' I replied.
'I got stuck on questions 36 and 45.' She sighed in defeat.
'36 was 9 and 45 was 16.5.' I said.
'What! How did you work that out?' She asked.
I grabbed out a piece of paper and started jotting things down, explaining to her how I got the answer 9 for 36 and 16.5 for 45.
'Ohh! That makes sense. Thanks Midoriya-kun.' She smiled.
'Wow. If you got those that easily, you must've gotten 100%.' Kaminari said, coming up behind Uraraka.
'No. There were a few I had trouble with.' I said.
'Really? Which ones?' Kirishima asked as he came over.
'Questions 23, 43 and 49. I did work then out, but, it took a lot of time away so I rushed through a few.' I replied.
'Settle down, class,' Aizawa said. 'Come collect your tests. Those who didn't get over 50% will have to come back after school.'
Everyone collected their tests and a few groans were heard. I looked at Kaminari's, seeing he had 47%.
'Do you want me to tutor you later?' I asked.
'Please do!' Kaminari said. 'I really need help.'
'Let's find the library. I can help you there.' I smiled.
'Can you help me too, please?' Kirishima asked.
'Sure.' I replied.
We left the room and headed down the large hallways to find the library.
