THE MOON'S REDEMPTION

Part 16

The days have gone by pretty fast since the arrest of the Wijitan duo, Mrs Wijitan called a press conference to denounce her husband's wrong doing, after which she served him divorce papers this tidbit according to the officer in charge of the case.

When Channarong Kongthanin called his son during the week he told his son that the lady had showed up at the house and officially cancelled the engagement and apologized for everything her daughter had put Phana through. The poor woman had cried stating she had been a bad mother and wife not knowing what was happening under her own roof.

Meanwhile, every student had been talking about the case and each time new information was release talk would start up again. Quite a few student thought that Pring got what she deserve as she had proven to be a disingenuous person after winning the 'Moon and Star' competition during her first year. She'd shown her true colors and many had regretted giving her the popular vote just because she was pretty. Many students had come forward claiming that they had been blackmailed by her and been forced to spy on Pha for her. Those who claimed that they had spied on the Kongthanin boy for her gave their statement and were let go with the equivalent of a slap on the wrist, since the big fish was already caught.

The boys had gone in to the police and made their statement, they had then been questioned separately to ensure that their stories corroborated and that the defense lawyers could not find any inconsistencies.After finally doing their civil duty the boys release a collective sigh of relief.

Beam has decided that it was time for him to talk to Pha about the way he felt towards him, for that occasion he'd invited Pha to dinner at the bistro where they had their impromptu dinner a couple of weeks prior. Beam Knew that he might not get a positive answer, but he'd never know unless he spoke things out, for too long he'd kept quiet, it was time to make his own path.

On the other hand Pha had been mulling over the things he'd began to notice about his friend and the strange things he felt when the boy was around. With that in mind he decided that he'd talk to Beam and not be a coward, cowardice had caused him to loose a lot in the past. He was now healing because of the strong support system that he'd had, he'd also manage to let go since he and Yo had never had anything beyond him spying on the young boy, it had been easy for him once he'd seen the boy happy with his choice.

The night of the dinner arrived and both boys were anxious about what they had to say to each other. Pha was much more nervous than Beam as he still was not sure what his feelings were. Still he was not going to waste time, if Beam will let him, he would like to discover what was happening to him together with the young man. They had decided that they would meet at the restaurant at seven thirty and Beam was the first to arrive just a mere five minutes before the meeting time.

Pha had had to change his shirt twice because of nervous sweat because of that he's had the AC full blast in the car, he finally arrived at the restaurant with just one minute to spare, "Sorry I made you wait." he apologized."It's okay I just got here myself," Beam said. Pha smile knowing the boy was just trying to make him feel better, and all the worry Pha felt flew away. No matter what happened this was his Beam and even if he got rejected he knew that nothing would change he would still be able to confide in and trust him. Pha was somewhat surprised that he'd refer to Beam as his even mentally.

Just like the previous time the two talked about all sorts of thing without feeling any discomfort until dessert arrived, both knew it was now or never, "Pha", "Beam" they both said at the same time, nervous laughter flowed from them both, "You go first Beam," Pha said to his childhood friend, the boy gave him a smile that made his head swim, and his heart skip a beat.

"Pha,..... this is ..... so hard to say." Pha knew the feeling Beam was experiencing right this moment since he too had something hard to say. "You want me to go first?" Beam shook his head, "I'll just go ahead and say it. Pha, I like you I've liked you for a very long time actually no..., I love you, like is too mild a word for what I feel for you. I know you may not feel the same way but it's time that I let you know what I feel for you. I've kept it to myself for too long"

Pha was smiling, "Beam, I don't know that what I feel toward you is love right now, but lately I've been finding myself thinking about you constantly and to tell the truth I was going to ask you to help me figure out what it is that I'm feeling for you. I would like nothing more than to be with you . More than anyone else you know me you know how bratty I get yet you've stood by me. Maybe because we have been spending more time together I started paying more attention to you, and you've been making my heart do crazy things. You've been in my dream a lot lately, beautiful dream." The last part was said in a whisper

"Pha what are you saying?" Beam asked hopeful.

"I don't know, but I want to ask you this: Will you be my boyfriend Beam? Let's figure this out together."

"I don't need to be your boyfriend to help you figure out your feelings Pha." He said a sad note in his voice

"But that's what I want you to be." The other retorted

"Had you said you liked me back I would happily say yes Pha, I don't want either of us to get hurt, or have any regrets. What I will do is help you uncover what you do want and if what you feel is love."

Beam's rejection cause Pha to feel a twinge of pain in his chest. Why would Beam say no if he loved him. Pha reach out his hand to Beam who took it, "I've love you for a very long time Pha, I am willing to wait for you until you are sure of what you feel. Okay?" Pha vigorously nodded leaned his head forward and places a kiss on Beam's knuckles.

"I don't want to lose you Beam." The boy placed his palm on the taller boy's face while his thumb gently caressed him, "You won't loose me Pha I promise," Beam whispered. "Come on let's get out of here." Beam called for the bill as he could see that Pha was in distress. "I'll drive you home, we'll come back for your car tomorrow."

Spoiled Pha made an appearance as the boy shook his head no, "You stay with me or I stay with you."

"Okay, I'll sleep over."

That night Pha refused to let go of Beam as they slept, if Beam went by Pha's behaviour he would say that Pha was in love with him but was yet to understand that, probably because what he'd felt for Yo was different from what he was feeling toward him.

Beam savored the feel of being held by the one he loved as he wanted to believe that the two of them were on the way to something big.

The next morning Pha woke up with a leg around Beam's hip and an arm wrapped around the boy's torso, while the other was under Beam's head. Pha was not much of a huger, that is why he never minded sharing a bed with any of his friends. This was the first time he'd gone to sleep wrapped around someone and waking up still in the same position.

Pha found himself sniffing Beam neck for that scent he'd grown to like, he placed a kiss on his bed partner's neck, savoring the fragrance he found there. He gently pressed his harden member against Beam's posterior as he'd awoken feeling quite randy. The motion of his rocking hips woke the other.

"Mm," Beam moaned "Pha what are you doing?"He mumbled.

"I want you Beam." Was his sole response as he latch his lips on Beam's neck and continued to rock his hips.
