We arrived at the hospital and I ran beside the bed. His wrist was wrapped up in a bandage which was already covered in blood. I held his hand on the opposite arm and squeezed his hand. I looked at him face which once again looked peaceful. Like nothing had happened. His eyes slowly opened.
"Baekhyun" I smiled with tears running down my cheek
"W-what's happening" he asked in a scared tone "I-I didn't mean for this to happen"
"Sir you can come any further" the doctor said as I let go of baekhyuns hand before he was rushed into another room.
I sat down on the floor with my back again the wall and my knees up against my chest.
'How did I let this happen' I kept saying to myself.
'Why am I acting like this? We've only know each other for a few days'
Hours passed. I didn't move form where I was sat. Sehun turned up after a few hours. He gave me some food but I refused to eat.
"Chan you really must care about him" sehun said while taking a bite out of a tuna sandwich. "You don't act like this to anyone else. Even me and jongin"
I thought about it to myself. Why do I care so much about him.
"I'm not sure sehun. There's something about him that draws me in. I have the urge to protect him and I feel like I've failed already" I said while clenching my first up into a ball turning my knuckles white.
"Don't attack me or anything but I think you like him" sehun said while taking another bite. Those words lingered in my head. Did I? But I'm straight! I like girls!
"But I'm straight tho"
"Chanyeol you're as straight as a round about" sehun said with a straight face. Ugh I can't deal with him. I just smacked him on the back of the head and turned back to my wall.
"Ok but on a real note, I'm sure you have some feelings towards baekhyun" the room went silent as chanyeol was lost deep in his thoughts once again asking himself if he did like him.
"I'm not gonna rush you into anything but you two do look cute together" sehun blurted out while finishing his sandwich.
Just as chanyeol was gonna hit him a doctor came out of the room. Chanyeol shot up and walked towards her.
"Are you here for baekhyun?" She asked
"Yes" chanyeol said a bit too quickly.
"How are you related to him?"
"He's his boyfriend" sehun said before he could open his mouth.
"Ok then. Baekhyun is in a stable condition at the moment but he lost a lot of blood. He will need to stay here for a few days." The doctor said while looking at her clip board.
"Ok thank you so much" I said while bowing to her. When she walked off i hit sehun around the back of the head.
"Why did you say that!"
"But you wish it was true tho" he said with a weird face on. "As well she might've told you if you just said he's my friend I made 3 days ago"
That was a decent argument but do I wish he was my boyfriend?
I rushed towards baekhyun a room which was obviously the furthest away. I left like I was in a kdrama running through the hospital. When I finally found his room I quietly went in and kneeled down next to his bed. He looked like he was sleeping. I held on to his hand and smiled. He's so fucking precious.
Before I knew I'd fell asleep holding onto his hand.
Baekhyun pov
I felt something warm on my hand. I opened my eyes to see I have in a hospital room. I looked to my left to see a head of silver hair resting on my bed. I instantly knew it was chanyeol. His hands were holding onto mine. I'm glad he was sleeping because I was a blushing mess right now.
I used my free hand to gently run my fingers through his hair trying not to wake him up... but that didn't work. Chanyeols head slowly rose up. His eyes were red probably from crying and he had noticeably big under eye bags.
"You're awake" he said while a smile.
"Yeah"
"I'm so glad you're ok" he said while smiling, his hand still hold on onto mine.
"I didn't mean to do it" I said while looking down. "Really I didn't mean for it to turn out this bad and drag you into it"
I felt a warm hand against my cheek. I looked up and chanyeol removed a tear from my cheek with his thumb that I didn't even know was there.
"It's ok. All that mattered is that you're ok now" he smiled "from now on I will protect you no matter what. I will be next to you"
I let out a big smile while placing my other hand over chanyeols hand on my cheek.
"Thank you" I said while giving off a massive smile.

I realised today that school starts I'm 2 weeks and I'm sad but then that means I'm getting my braces in 2 weeks and me and jeongin can be matching 😂
