He heard what sounded like footsteps behind and beside him. He looked around for anything that could've made the noise. Yet all he could see were two small red dots, and they were getting closer.

He'd panic, standing up and stumbling away slightly, but tripping on a root and falling. He'd back away as much as he could from the red dots, then he heard a voice once they got close enough.

"Hey, ya mind not running away? I'm not here to kill ya dammit." It sounded like a female voice.

"...I don't believe you on that." He'd stand up, leaning against a tree somewhat, keeping his ground.

As the dots got closer, they'd grow slightly, then they'd stop, "Really? Why?"

"Red eyes usually don't bode well in the whole living situation."

"Well aren't you quick to judge."

"...I guess."

"Anyways, who are you?"

"Doctor-no, no...just Stronach."

"...Well I'm just gonna call you 'Doc', cause Stronach is NOT easy to remember, no offense."

"..." He'd shrug.

"Anyways, do you have any idea what the hell your deal is?"

"...What...what do you mean?"

"Apparently your soul has...to lack of better words 'been damaged', and we don't have a damned clue why, do you happen to know why?"

"Uhm...there...there was an axe? But...it wasn't-it wasn't a REAL axe."

"...Excuse me?"

"Something about...possession...and demons..."

"Ooooh, mental demon shit, alright."

"Yeah, yeah...that was it..."

"Alright, there's that figured out, thanks." Suddenly she disappears in grey smoke.

"Whatinthegoddamn..." He starts to walk off, keeping an eye on the area.

He spots a trail and decides to follow it for a while, in hopes of finding a village of sorts. After about an hour, he finds a village and practically collapses onto a bench. He looks around and sees that the town is fairly large, plenty of people, buildings and more. He decided to look for some water, a river, a creek, anything at this point.
