Chapter 4

He walked up to me and said

"Hey don't you look a little too fragile to be here, you might get hurt."

"Well I'd say be careful to you as well because you might just skate and fall over you big ego." I fired back

"Oh I'm so scared!" He mocked

"Hey back off man." Colby said

"No no i got this." I said as I put my hand across his chest holding him back slightly 

" Look man I just came here to  skate so just leave me alone that you very much." I said moving him out of the way

"Ok your a pussy anyway." He yelled at me

I immediately turn around with one swift movement.

"Ok then let's see who can skate better, and 14 year old girl, or an 17 year old boy?" I stated 

"Your on!" He exclaimed with a stern look on his face

We had three challenges, the first one was simple who could get from one side of the park to the other side

"On your mark... get ready... get set... GO!" A boy yelled 

we were off, we were going pretty fast but I've gone faster, that's why I won.

"Oh yeah whoop, whoop, you a loser I'm a winner, take this L, I hold that W, Yeah. I sung 

"Calm down we still have two more challenges!" He barked 

Then next challenge was who could do the coolest trick. Of course the people watching would decide who won.

He went first, what he did was the most legend thing ever, a double Decker Decker. It's where you ride your board you jump and your board flips twice and then you do it again but then it flips 3 times. One of the most complicated tricks ever. Next it was my turn, I'm not going to lie, I was intimidated, all i did was a handstand on the board on a medium sized ramp. I already knew who won.

"How many of you vote for Dylan?" 

"At least 15 hands shot up."

"OK, how many of you vote for skater chick?"

Probably like 13 hands went up

"Looks like we have a winner, Dylan!"

I knew it, I may have lost but there is still one more challenge, which was who could do the most tricks going down the ramp, ramps weren't my specialty but I do pretty well.

I went first, I started out simple, I went down the ramp and did a kick flip 

Then he went, he went for something a little more complicated. He went down the ramp, jumped off his board and landed on it perfect landing

My, turn. I went down the ramp and when I got to the top I flipped my board so that I was now on the opposite  side. It was a medium difficult trick

He went down the ramp, and one he was in the air he took the skateboard from underneath his feet held it, flipped it and landed it. So I knew what I had to do

I went down the ramp, and attempted the deadly dragon. I've never gotten it before so maybe it was my lucky day. I went down the ramp and when I got to the top I did a backwards flip, but wiped out. It wasn't bad but I didn't land on the board I just landed on my feet with a little stumble.

"Looks like we have a winner Dylan!"

Everybody cheered. He then walked up to me   

"You should've listened to me." He said in a sweet but cockily 

"I don't listen to idiots." I stated as I put my head down

He cupped my chin and lifted it so that I'd look at him

"Don't worry some day you'll be s good as me." he said as he smirked 

"See you 'round, skater chick." he said, then walked away from me

"Come on Lia I think it's tome to go." Colby said

I was quiet the whole ride, until Colby broke the silence

"You shouldn't be sad, you did a great job." He said

"Well it wasn't good enough to beat that Dylan dude." I stated

"How many people can go up against a 17 year old?"

"True." I agreed

"You know what I'm not even going to focus on it, I'm just going to worry about school." I stated

"See there you go, now your looking on the bright side." He remarked

 I chuckled. We got home and I went into the living room.

"How was the park?" Aaron asked

"Interesting." I responed

"What happened." He asked

"Your regular everyday skate park thing, having a competition with a 17 year old and losing. "

"You did what, Lia are you Ok." He questioned me 

"Yeah I'm fine, you know I'm just going to go to my room." I said

"Ok see you later."

By the time we were home it was like 6:30. Then I heard Elton asking to come in, of course I let him in and he had something in his hands

"What's that?" I questioned 

"It's for you." He answered 

"No you've done to much I can't." I presisted

"Well you kind of need it so here." He said handing out the box to me

I unwrapped it and it was a 

"Laptop? why do I need one of these" I asked 

"To write your essays on." He responed

"Oh well, thank you so much, I don't deserve you guys." I said 

"Neither do I" I said as I gave him a hug 

He then walked out and I set it up myself. It was gray and it had an apple on it, like the one on my phone, I wonder what it means.

I watched a bunch of Netflix, it was my favorite thing ever my favorite thing to watch is the vampire diaries.

By the time I was on the second season it was like 9:00 I went downstairs cause I was really hungry. I looked in the refrigerator and warm up some pizza, then took it to the living room and watched the guys play their game which they do 24/7 so nothing really new. I then head up and put on my PJ's and went to bed, after all it has been a long day.
