I woke up and and got a text from my phone. The Vogue team posts were up. I looked through the list, and I didn't make it. I wasn't depressed or devastated, I kinda had some high hopes. I didn't expect to get accepted anyway. I put my phone down and I went back to sleep. Eventually I woke up again, I decided to stay in my room and do some online shopping. But the thing is, I don't have money. I went over to Elton's room to ask if I could get a job.

"Hey Elton?" I said

"Hey, what's up?" He said

"I was just wondering if I could get a job." I asked

"Yeah, what job?" He asked

"I don't know yet, but I want something fun." I said

"Youtuber." He said

"Not my forte." I said

"Well, since you love skateboards, maybe you could work at the vans store, down the street." Elton said

"Ohhh, good idea." I said

"I'll be right back." I said

"Where you going." He asked

"To apply for the job." I said in an obviously tone 

I went downstairs. Someone grabbed me and I yelled slightly.

"Colby! Why'd you do that?" I asked

"I don't know, and did you win?" He asked

"No." I said looking down

"Oh no I'm sorry" He said

"Don't worry about it I'm fine." I said with a half smile

"You sure?" He asked

"Positive" I said

"So where are you on your way to?" He asked

"I'm going to get a job at the vans store." I said

"Go Lia!" He said high fiving me 

"Well I only have (I pulled out my phone) 9 minutes, I-I gotta go!" I said in a hurry

I walked out the door grabbing my skateboard. I skated down the street. I finally got to the vans store. I walked in and asked for the manager.

"Hello, I'm here to apply for a job here." I said

"Right this way." He said

He led me to a room and I had a sit down with the manager.

"Oh wow, I like your board." He said

"Oh thanks." I said

We did all that talking stuff and yeah but I did get the job. I was so happy. Looks like I'm going to be working with the skateboards and stuff now. I skated over back to the house and told everyone how I got the job.

"I'm so happy for you!" Devyn said

"Thanks." I said

"Oh, you got your first job, they grow up so fast!" Corey said strangling me 

"I can't *cough* breath." I said 

"I'm sorry, I'm just so happy." He said

I went back into my room and I had gotten a text from Sky, I still feel guilty around her. She asked me if I had gotten a spot for Teen V I said not, but I got a job at the Vans stare. She asked doing what. I responded with skateboards. She said, well at least you're doing something you love. I said yeah. I sighed and laid back in my bed. This time I had gotten a call from Madison.
