Chapter 8 the first day of school

I woke up at 6:00, fully awake, and fully ready for today. I wen to the bathroom and took a quick shower, washed my face, and brushed my teeth. Then I put on the outfit

(I know right,)

I grabbed my back, and walked out to the bus stop. Since my stop was the last one everybody was already in the bus. It was so weird because everyone stared at me. I went to the back of the bus, because it was so cool in the back. We can talk about anything and no one can hear. I found a seat surprisingly. 

"Hey I'm Kevin nice to meet you" He said sticking his hand out to shake mine

"Hi I'm Lia, nice to meet you too." I said shaking his hand 

"Hey Lia I'm Sky, I was head cheer captain last year." She said

"Oh really I think I'm going out for cheer this year." I stated

"That'd be amazing, we'd have sleep overs and when we travel to different places we-" I cut her off

"We travel?" I asked 

"Yeah, football and basket ball are like practices for us." She said  

"Awesome, where did you go." I asked amazed

"well since this school is so  popular people actually pay to go to so many different places, like new York ,  Chicago, new jersey, and Ohio. But I heard were going to Hawaii this year." She said

"That's amazing." I said back to her

We finally arrived at school. It was huge, there were at least 7 buses, and people getting dropped off. This should be fun. I walked in with Kevin and Sky, I had a feeling we'd be best friends. I walk to my locker and it's next to these two guys, they were pretty cute I'm not gonna lie. I finally got my locker open and started to put my stuff in it. 

"Hey." The guy on the right said

"Hi I'm Lia nice to meet you." I said back

"You look nice." He complimented 

"Thanks, you too." I said

"Why thank you, what class do you have?" He questioned 

"Uh, math." I said

"Ok cool, me too I'll take you there." He said

"By the way my name's Brandon." He said

He walked me to math, and the teacher was the absolute worst. She gave us homework.

*Skip to lunch* 

"Hey you ready to try out for  cheer?" Sky asked

"I think so." I answered

"Come on." She dragged me 

We got to the gym and it was huge, there were at least 50 girls which had intimidated me a lot.

"Ok girls, we are going to start stretching ok?" The coach said 

*10 minutes of stretching*

"Ok if your a freshman stand there." She said pointing a spot on floor 

"Well freshman, there will not be a lot of you on the team, you are working with people who have been here for years. You need to work as if you have been cheering for 16 years." She yelled

"So how many of you do tumbling or gymnastics." She asked

I put my hand up, and so did about 5 other people. 

"So I guess we'll start with tumbling, do your best move." The coach said    

A girl did a front handspring, another did a back tuck, these girls are good. It was my turn I did a round off back handspring step out. I could tell the other girls were amazed, then they all started to clap.

"Good job." Sky said

"Thank you." I say 

*Skip to end of the day.*

"Hey can I come over your house today?" Sky asked

"Uhh yeah let me ask Elton." I said

"You call your dad by his first name?" Sky said

"Well he's not my dad, he adopted me." I stated 

"Oh cool." She said  

"He said yeah, but there will be some people over." I said to her

"Awesome." She said

We arrived at my house.

"Wow, this place is huge." She exclaimed

"That's the first thought when I saw it." I said

We walked in, and Brennan and Scotty were there.

"Oh my gosh is that Scotty sire?!" She silently screamed in my ear

"Yeah." I whispered 

"Omg that is cool, how do you know him" She said

"My dad is a YouTuber, he knows all types of people." I said

"Hey Elton!" I said giving him a hug."

"How was tryouts." He asked

"Awesome." He said

"Who's this?" He asked 

"Oh that's Sky." My friend

"Hi." Sky said as she waved

"Well you two have fun." He said walking away

We went upstairs to my room. She looked through my closet.

"Hey you have David Dobrik merch." She asked amazed

"Yeah he gave it to me." I said

"You met him?!" She asked 

"Yeah Elton knew him." I said

"That's awesome!" Said

Then I got a text from him (David) saying...
