Stay woke 26

I woke up feeling sick as ever. My throat was hurting, I was sneezing, and I was coughing, today is not my day. I went to my bathroom and looked in the mirror, I looked disgusting. I reached in my medicine cabinet, and took an allergy pill. I hate missing school, there's so much work to catch up on. So I threw some sweatpants on and an oversize T-shirt, put my hair in a bun, made some coffee, and almost went to the door. 

"Were do you think you're going?" Aaron said

"To school, you know that." I said turning around reaching for the doorknob

"No your not." He said

"Yes I am." I debated

"You're clearly sick." He said

"No it's allergy season." I said 

"In november?" He asked

"Just let me go." I whined

"Upstairs now." He demanded

"Ok dad." I said walking upstairs

"I threw my backpack on the floor and flopped in the bed. Which made Lightning jump up too. I just sat there petting her

"Who does he think he is telling me when and when I can't go to school, I need to get an edumacation." I said to Light

"Hey." Amanda said (Elton's GF)

"Hi." I crooked 

"I brought you some soup, Aaron told me you weren't feeling good." She said standing at my bed

"I could've gone to school, Aaron just made me stay home." I said

"He's just looking out for you." She said

"I know, but is he not looking out for the tons of homework I'm gonna get." I said, she laughed

"You'll be fine." She said handing me the soup

"Thanks 'manda." I said

"No problem." She replied walking towards my door.

I figured I'd just go back to sleep, I had nothing to lose anyway. 

*1 hour later*

I woke up to someone sitting next to me and stroking my hair. I didn't even know who it was, then I slowly turned around and it was,

"Grayson?" I said shocked

"Yes?" He said

"Why are you in my bed?" I asked

"Oh, I'm sorry." He said getting up

"No it's not like that, you know I'm sick right?" I asked

"Yeah, so?" He said sounding confused

"Germs?" I hinted 

"Oh, right, you did want me to get- I got it." He said

"But you know what would make your day less suckier?" He asked with a huge grin on his face

"Nobody else went to school, and so no one got homework, or tests?" I said excitedly

"Not quite." He said grabbing something from the hallway

He came back inside with the huggest basket of gummy bears

"Grayson." I said in shock

"You like it?" He asked 

"I love it, thanks so much babe." I said 

"No problem." He said hugging me

"Dude germs." I said
