So me and my mom were talking about Big Brother (a show on CBS. If you watch it, comment #BB16 ) and my mom mentioned that Frankie and Derek's grandpas had died. So here's the conversation from that part

Me: Watch Donnie's grandpa die next. They say deaths come in three

Mom: Yeah

Matt (my 9 year old brother): Those old ladies must be working hard

Me: What?

Matt: Those old ladies who have the string and scissors and they cut the string (he just started reading the Lightning Thief. Comment Seaweed Brain if you've read PJO and HoO )

Me: I am proud!! You made a reference!! I am very proud of you! Good job! *gives him a high five and a brofist,*

And that was the time that my brother made a Percy Jackson reference while we were in the drive thru lane at Whataburger.
