Please vote and comment! The bell rang for lunch and majority of my students rushed out of the room. There was only five students left. "Claire, why did everyone leave so fast?" I asked. "You didn't hear? The band PRETTYMUCH is performing," she said. "What?" I asked. "They're performing in the auditorium," she said. "I'm sorry you guys, but I won't be staying in at lunch," I said. They all nodded and packed their belongings up. When they left the room, I locked it and walked to the auditorium.
I walked inside and everyone was already sitting down eating and waiting for them to go on stage. I walked towards the front of the auditorium to go backstage. I tried to go around someone, but they stopped me. "Sorry, you can't go back there," he said. "Why?" I asked. "You don't have a pass," he said and motioned to one of the students who had a pass around her neck. I scoffed, "I'm one of their girlfriends," I said. "Yeah right, as if one of them would date a teacher," the student said. "And what's wrong with being a teacher?" I asked. They stayed quiet and I stared at the guard. "I'm sorry, I need proof," he said.
"She's with me," Nick said as he appeared behind the guard. The guard turned around surprised and Nick grabbed my hand to guide me to the back. "What are you doing?" I asked as he put his earpieces in. "Putting my ear monitors in," he said. I rolled my eyes, "Nick, what are you doing here?" I asked. "Performing," he said. "Why didn't you tell me?" I asked. "We wanted to surprise you," he said. "And yes we brought you lunch," he said and motioned to the bag of Chick Fil A on a table. I groaned, "Thank you," I said. He nodded, "We saved a seat for you in the front," he said. "No, there's a lot of girls who are dying to see you," I said. "Let one of them take my seat. I see you guys everyday. It's fine," I said. He nodded. I kissed him and walked out of the room.
I went to go sit in the audience and as soon as I sat down they went on stage. They started to sing Summer On You. Everyone was standing and singing along. Majority of the audience was girls. It was funny watching them all freak out when they came on stage.
After Summer On You, they sang 10,000 hours. This was one of my favorite songs. They got down from the stage and made their ways through the aisles. Nick stopped at me and he smiled. Your body, it's a problem Let me study, get some knowledge from you, yeah We can, do this often Listen, trust me, you should cancel all your plans
I chuckled and after he finished his part he leaned down to kiss me then he walked away. He is so extra. After they performed On My Way, Open Arms, and No More. They ended the show and went into the crowd to meet some fans.
They had their microphones still so I sat down towards the back and there was only a few fans left Nick decided it would a great idea to use his microphone to call my name. "Kaylee! Oops Miss. Miramontes," he said. I laughed and stood up to make my way down to him. "So, I'll pick you up," Nick said. I nodded, "I have some things to do after fifth period, so you can just come at four," I said. Nick nodded and he leaned down to kiss my cheek.
