Taehyung couldn't. He couldn't do this. There was no one meant for him. He was destined to be alone. He can't change destiny. Jungkook can't change destiny. No one can change destiny.

He's afraid that Jungkook will leave him. Of course, the sweet younger had been here for him for the last few weeks but nothing says that he would continue to stay here and continue to like Taehyung the way he is.

Taehyung didn't want to seem weak. But he is.

He feels happy, so goddamn happy that he had, had enough courage to tell Jungkook about his life and continued to do so, but the overwhelming fear that lay inside of him took control. What if Jungkook left him? What if one day, he decided that he could no longer stay with a broken boy like himself? What if one day he realises that out of every boy he could have chosen, Taehyung was the worst. Jungkook can, and probably will, one day leave, leaving Taehyung all alone. Like he was always meant to be.

When Jungkook came by later in the day, he noticed that he was back at square one. Taehyung hardly spoke and the boxy smile hardly came out. Jungkook refrained to ask why because Taehyung would tell him when he' comfortable. Right?
