You know that I can't
Show you me
Give you me
I can't show you a ruined part of myself
Once again I put a mask again and go to see you
But I still want youJungkook silently took a seat next to Taehyung, coming a little later than he usually does. His day hadn't been very good, he was late to school, therefore missing his breakfast and forgetting his very important assessment causing him to have a detention and being late to meet Taehyung. Now that he was here, Jungkook suddenly felt a little happier.
"Are you okay?" Tae hesitantly asked, his deep voice smooth to Jungkook's ears.
Jungkook looked up and smiled at the older man who had a slightly concerned and worried facial expression. "I'm fine, don't worry." He smiled once again before looking at his lover. "What about you?"
"Just peachy," Taehyung lied, not wanting to know how bad he felt on the inside. He smiled brightly towards the younger. The younger being as naive as himself didn't realize how fake the smile was and believed him.
They both were left in silence just merely enjoying the other's presence. Thoughts were running marathons through each of their minds.
Jungkook was thinking about how happy Taehyung made him feel. The feelings were unmistakable and the butterflies in his stomach, though unwelcomed, were reassuring. He knew that love was something rare and that when you find it, you should keep ahold of it and never lose it.
Taehyung's thoughts were in similar places except they were opposite. He loved the warm feeling he had every time that Jungkook was close to him and he loved how his voice soothed him more than anything had ever done.
But, he couldn't be with him. Jungkook deserved the absolute best, someone that would complete him. Someone he could wake up to and someone that would always be with him. And someone, someone that wouldn't lie to him.
