But I know
I can't do that forever
doing nothing but hiding
Because I'm a monsterTaehyung felt a great sense of happiness whenever Jungkook now joined him after school. Maybe it was the feeling of comfort, or the feeling of love or maybe even the feeling of knowing that you aren't alone in this world and that you have someone that would go through life with you. Nonetheless, it made a smile appear on his face.
After their previous conversation or Taehyung's confession, they both felt a lot more comfortable around the other. And now, their conversations did not only include Jungkook's voice, but Taehyung's deep one as well.
After getting everything off his chest Taehyung just felt a lot happier and lighter. Now he had no need to hide from Jungkook and that was truly the best feeling, knowing that he had to no longer lie and pretend but instead share their ups and downs.
After all, nothing would last forever. Not a human life and definitely not the lie that Taehyung had kept up in front of Jungkook. He did no longer need to hide because Jungkook had convinced him over their next few conversations that Taehyung should not see himself as this hideous, ugly monster that should be kept away and hidden but instead something pure. A fallen angel that did not know its place on the earth.
You have got to thank Jungkook because he is the reason that now when Taehyung is looking in a mirror, instead of flinching at all his flaws, he smiles and embraces the imperfections knowing that he should love himself because Jungkook does too.
