"Niall, look behind you." Louis said silently.
"Hi Niall"
"Fuck." I cursed under my breath.

*Niall's POV*

I can't believe it. It's him, my ex Nathan. I hate how his name rolls off my tongue, Nathan. The guy that i saw cheating on me with, some stranger he probably just met in a fucking panera bread. What did he expect me to do now? Just get back together while my boyfriend is in the hospital? I don't think thats how it works.

"What are you doing here?" Louis asked firmly with fury in his eyes.
"Chill Louis, i'm here to see if you're okay." He replied with a smirk.
"Why do you even care?" I found my gateway to the conversation and walked into it.
"Well Louis was the person I was kissing in that panera bread in 10th grade..." his smirk grew wider.
"Louis? Is this true?" I asked on the verge of tears.
"Niall I can explain. Just let me explain and you'll understand." He started this almost getting out of bed, but the other boys held him down.

"So it is true! How could you do this to me? Both of you!" I screamed. The tears burning a path down my face.

"No Niall! He saw you coming so he grabbed me and kissed me! I swear that's what happened!" I wasn't even sure if I should believe him anymore.

"I wanna hear Nathan's side of the story," I said, the tear flow easing a bit.
"Well, what Louis said is completely true. I wanted you to break up with me because I didn't think it would hurt you as much if you broke up with me." He said leaning against the door frame.

"Well they hurt equally as much in that case. I honestly just want an apology Nathan. I cried for so long. You don't understand the physical and mental pain I went through. I was ready to just move away from this poor city and get away from you. But if I had moved, I wouldn't have met Louis. There's an upside and a downside i guess, but I don't want to see you anymore Nathan,leave." Anger boiled in my blood.

And with that, he smiled and walked away knowing his job was done.

"Visiting hours are over, all of you except for Mr.Horan must leave." The nurse walked in and told everybody to leave and I just sat down and a blanket of silence was over us.

I was very emotional from what had just occurred. It may have happened a while ago but it still effects me because I'm finding out that my old boyfriend cheated on me with my new one. Louis just stared at me for an estimated 10 seconds.

"Niall. Are you okay babe?" He asked very sweetly and comforting.
"I'm fine. It's just I'm still trying to process all of this." I didn't even glare at him. I couldn't even stand looking at him. I didn't know what to think..

10 minutes later

I should just throw all of this away and just be happy Louis is okay. I heard faint snores coming from behind me. I turned my head and saw that Louis was asleep.

"Oh Louis. I'm so sorry." I leaned in to kiss his forehead when I felt his lips attach to mine. I didn't pull away, it just took me by surprise.

"No, i'm sorry for not telling you. Now get into this bed with me and let's sleep." He said with a small grin as I backed away slowly.
