Chapter 7

*Louis's POV*

I huffed and layed down. Niall just stared at me in shock.

"What do you mean? How could you tell?" He asked inching towards me.
He touched me,not just tap and like slap or something. I mean like inappropriately touched me and he tried to make out with me but I didn't let him and he got angry so he started punching my arms yelling at me to kiss him. I didn't let him so he just left. One more problem in our relationship Niall and it's Caleb.
He started to tear up,"Babe I-i'm so sorry."

He wrapped his arms around me and I couldn't take it anymore. I nuzzled into his chest,grabbed his shirt in my hands and cried. I felt violated in so many ways. What exactly is this considered? Harrassment? All I know is Niall won't let this happen again but he might get hurt. Caleb's punches were pretty hard and I don't want Niall to get hurt. I don't get why he's so protective of me. I feel like he thinks that I can't defend myself...well if Eleanor makes an unwanted visit to us tomorrow, I'm gonna stand up to her. Niall isn't gonna save me this time.

"Louis! Niall! Come downstairs." My mom called us.

I quickly got out of Niall's embrace and composed myself. He automatically waited at the door for me. I wiped my tears off my face and we walked, hand-in-hand to the kitchen where my mom was located.

"Yes mom?" I asked.
"Louis I have a question especially for you, why do you have these bruises on your arms?" I started to tear up
"Louis it's okay. It's just your mom, nothing to worry about and if you don't want to tell her, i will."

I nodded and told her the entire thing.

"Oh Louis," she pulled me into a warm embrace, "it's okay. So what Caleb is gay, he isn't your type anyway."
"MOM" I yelled. She laughed and continued making dinner.
"Why was I called down then?" Niall questioned.
"Just moral support for Louis. You know he feels more comfortable when you're around." She winked.
"MOM YOU'RE DOING IT AGAIN!" I was clearly blushing. Wait I'm blushing. Oh my gosh. I don't think they noticed though. Niall giggled at my moms comment. That fucking giggle. It's that giggle that made my heart melt.

"Are we free to go back up?" Niall asked silently.
"Yeah that's fine. Dinner will be done soon boys." She stated.

We nodded and ran upstairs. I instantly collapsed onto the floor.

The last thing I heard was Niall screaming, " LOUIS! LOUIS ARE YOU OKAY?" Then everything went black.

*Niall's POV*

I ran downstairs and told Jay. She instantly picked up the phone and called the ambulance. They came here in an instant. I saw them place Louis on the gurney and they drove off with him. Jay told me to just drive with her and we sat together. It was so silent,I could hear her heart beating. I then couldn't hold it in anymore. I cried and cried and couldn't stop. She tried comforting me but ended up crying herself. We were hoping Louis was okay.

"Go on in and I'll park, "she stated her voice mildly muffled.

I nodded and ran into the hospital making sure to not run into people. The receptionist just looked at me for a couple seconds as if she was waiting for me to catch my breath.

"Hi how may I help?" She asked very politely.
"Louis,Louis Tomlinson," i said still crying slightly.

She told me his room and i quickly walked by everyone into the room I was told to go to. I walked in and Louis wasn't there. I ran back up to the receptionist and found Jay there.

"Jay! Jay! Louis isn't there! He's not in the room!" I said, out of breath and tearing up.
Her eyes began to widen, "what do you mean?"
"He's not in his room!"
"I just received the memo. Louis Tomlinson was taken out of his room and moved somewhere else. Near the emergency room."

I asked if he was okay but she just told me to go and see. Well thanks how helpful of you. Jay and I hurried down the halls until we found Louis. He was very pale and I slowly walked up to his hospital bed. Just seeing him in this condition worried me. Was it something he ate? Did Caleb have anything to do with this? I hate having separate periods from him. I don't know what happens while I'm not there. I know he has classes with both Eleanor and Caleb. At the same time so it must suck. There's a guy going for him and a girl. Either they don't want me or Louis happy or they want to make themselves happy. Which could be the one thing. I know Eleanor is going for both but I'm not exactly sure about Caleb. He only knows of me as "the gay one" when in reality there is an entire chain of gays in our school.

The doctor arrived in the room and I flooded him with questions.

"Is he gonna be okay?"
"How did this happen?"
"Was it something he ate?"
"Was it a lack of something?"

"Ok, can you be quiet maybe? Thank you." He stayed a little harshly.

I nodded and backed away.

"Louis Tomlinson. He had eaten something that contained a certain toxin that usually isn't effective to most people, but it effected Louis intensely. So much that he had passed out and if you called the ambulance any later, he could have died. Good thing we got to him when we did. We could not determine what exactly he had eaten, but we can ask him when he wakes up." He states sternly, "one of you will have to stay with him just in case he wakes up after visiting hours."

I stepped forward, "i'm his boyfriend, I'll do it. Jay you go get some sleep. It'll be okay."
"Niall are you sure?"

I nodded. She slowly walked over to Louis bed, kissed his forehead and left. The doctor had left the room also,so I got to be alone with Louis. I grabbed his hand and stroked it. I cried and cried and couldn't stop. Maybe two hours after everyone had left, I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around to see Liam and Harry. Louis friends.

"Um,hi guys." I whispered.

Harry walked up beside me and instantly cried. Liam walked up behind him and reassured him it would be okay.

"How long have you been here?" Harry asked between sniffles.
"Maybe 3 hours."

He nodded and wiped his tears off his face. He was mumbling words but they were barely audible. Liam was trying to stay strong but I could see in his eyes that he was ready to cry.

"It's okay Liam. Let it out." I said.

In an instant,Liam was sobbing his eyes out. We then all got in a group hug and cried together hoping Louis would be okay.

"Guys?" I heard a groggy voice behind me and quickly turned around.

We all then screamed, "LOUIS!" and asked him a bunch of questions but the only one he actually answered was the one I asked.

"Louis did you eat anything that Eleanor or Caleb gave to you?"
He nodded, "Yes Caleb gave me a muffin and i don't think he did this on purpose Niall. It may have just been a coincidence trust me."

I just agreed because he just woke up and I don't want to argue with him. I saw the color in his face come back and I was incredibly relieved. He was okay,he is still alive. I don't have to worry about him dying anymore. I can just go home with him and it will be okay.

"Niall,look behind you." Louis said silently.
"Hi Niall"
"Fuck." I cursed under my breath.
