Avery's pov

Ryder, Rrrrrryder Ryder.
Urghhh why can't i get him out of my head.
I was in the last period of the day and it was math so I didn't care much, instead i was trying to silence the voice in my head saying Ryder over and over again.

"U should care you know it's still a important class"

"What the fuck!?" I scream loudly falling back out of my chair. All the kids in the class laughed at me while i was still trying to calm my heartbeat down.
"Something wrong mister Vandez?" The teacher asked raising an eyebrow at me i shook my head still bug eyed looking around the room. What in the name of god was that?

Skip to the end of the class

"Fuck, fuck, FUCK" i said out loud earning a couple of stares from fellow students. I got a very bad foot ace cause my shoes are a size too small, but I can't get new ones cause I haven't got a job yet and my mom won't pay for them.
"You okay there?" I heard a voice behind me ask. I turned around limping to see Ryder. "Hi again, and no my feet are killing me and i have to walk half an hour to get home" i pouted. He smiled sweetly at me "of course not, you can ride with me stay here i ride the car up so you won't have to walk to it" he said running off to get his car before i could protest.

I smiled watching him running towards his car. I sat myself down on the side walk to rest my feet a bit. Not a minute later Ryder rolled up with his very old and rusty car. He rolled down his window which made a horrible screeching sound. "Your carriage has arrived" he said smiling. I giggled and hopped to the passenger seat. I sat down with a big sigh. I saw Ryder look at me concerned "are you alright?" He asked quietly. I mumbled a yeah "thanks for the ride, really appreciate it" i smiled at him. He hummed and started the car again which fell out during our small talk.

"So where to?" He asked. I gave him my address and we took off in comfortable silence. "So why do your feet hurt so bad?" Ryder breaks the silence. I sighed "cause my shoes are too small and I can't buy new ones yet, gotta find myself a job first" i said looking out the window. "What about your mom?" He said frowning. I stiffen "uh yeah we just haven't got a lot of money" i lie. The frown not leaving his face but he didn't say anything else.

We arrived at my house 5 minutes later. Ryder looked at my house and turned to me frowning again. "What?" I ask unbuckling my seatbelt. "You said your mom doesn't have a lot of money, but you still live in this part of town?" He asked. The thing is we live in the good part of town not the richy rich but the normal looking houses. "Whatever thanks for the ride" i said opening the door of the car. Ryders hand slamming the door shut again "tell me the truth" he asked stern. I looked at him in shock then anger "no, drop it let me out" i said trying to get his hand away from the door. "Just tell me" he kept pushing.

"FUCKING DROP IT" i scream in his face tears in my eyes. He looks at me in shock and that's my change to open the door and limp fast into my house slamming the door shut. I look out the window waiting for him to drive away which he finally did after 5 minutes. I sighed and leaned onto the counter of the kitchen.

"Is that you Avery?" Shit.
