Chapter 16: Y/N Explains What Happened

Once done, Jack noticed that Y/N was gone. He almost panicked until he figured where she could've gone. So he left for the cemetery.

Y/N walked up the hill with the spiral on the end. She sat on the top and looked out around the cemetery. Then she heard Jack singing behind her, making her turn around and stand up to make eye contact with him.

[Jack:]
"My dearest friend if you don't mind
I'd like to join you by your side
Where we can gaze into the stars"

[Both:]
"And sit together, now and forever
For it is plain as anyone can see
We're simply meant to be"

When he got to the top, they held hands as they finished singing. They leaned in and kissed. Once they parted, Y/N rested her forehead against his.

"Y/N, how did you come back?" Jack asked.

She sighed and gestured for him to sit down, which he did.

"When I died, I was brought to heaven where I saw my parents. We hugged and they told me they have been watching over me since they died. Meaning they knew about us. They said that they were happy for us and they understood if I wanted to return to be with you. They told me they would always be with me and visit me in my dreams. Then when I woke up, I saw what I looked like and this ring," Y/N explained.

She showed him the ring and when Jack saw it, he blushed. Y/N noticed and smirked.

"I knew it was from you when I saw it. And I would love to be your wife too," she told him.

Jack looked at her and a smile formed on his face.

"So would you consider marrying me on Halloween?" Jack wondered.

"I would love to," Y/N answered.

"Good. Because even though you've seen Halloween Town and met everyone here, you need to see us at our scariest," he smirked.

"I'm looking forward to it," she smirked back.

They got up and went to Jack's place.
