Part 7: Rain

Wet.

So Wet.

Why does it have to rain today? I have plans today and of course, the rain has to ruin it. Then the  apartment doorbell rang. I open the door and right in front of me was Jin. But dripping wet. Butterflies suddenly filled my stomach.

"J-Jin! You're so wet!" I said.

Then, I realised how hot he looked. My face turned a slight shade of pink as I realised he was wearing a white shirt.

"Oh yeah, I came over to say hi and it started to rain," he said playfully.

"..."

"Uhhh Y/N?" He asked while snapping his fingers.

"Oh sorry! Come on inside!" I said as I took his wrist and lead him inside.

Weirdly, that slight skinship sent my stomach to go crazy.

"Woah. It's been a while since I have been in your apartment and it looks so different!" He exclaimed while looking around.

"Yep! I switched it up!" I replied

I quickly grabbed a mini heater and plugged it in next to Jin.

"There you go! That should help you warm up," I said with a big smile on my face.

"Thanks!" He said while warming his hands up "Your such an awesome friend!" 

I don't know how and why, but what he said felt like a dagger in my heart. But I just ignored it.

"Oh! One sec," I said while hurrying off into my bedroom to get a jacket for him. But why does my heartbeat race when I'm near him? That's never happened before, except the time he kissed me on the cheek... Could it be....? No. I mustn't think about that now. Anyways, I picked up the first jacket I could find which fortunately, was a pink jacket. So I rushed back to Jin.

"Here. Wear this," I said while handing him the jacket. I blushed a bit while giving him the jacket, which again was strange.

"Thanks again Y/N!" He said while wearing a big smile.

"Pink suits you so well," I giggled.

"I bet it would suit you more!" He replied.

There was a quite long awkward, but slightly romantic silence between us.

"Sooo..." He said.

"You wanna play the Bbox?" I said while grinning.

"Sure! What game?" He replied.

"How about the first game we played together? Super smash sisters!" I asked.

"Ooh! This will bring back so many memories!" He said while picking up a Bbox controller.

"But be careful! I've gotten better!!" 

"Same here so watch out!" 

We played SuperSmashSisters for a while and he started to hum a beautiful tune. I stayed quiet to listen to him. Eventually the humming turned into light singing. I've always loved his vocals; his high notes also always impressed me making him my main bis wrecker. But Taehyung is my bias since he's my brother.

"Wow. Look! The rain has cleared up!" I said while staring out the window.

"Well, I better go. The guys will probably be expecting me soon," He said.

"Aww. Okay! I will see you later then!" I exclaimed while turning off the Bbox.

"Oh and here's your jacket," he said while handing me the jacket.

"Oh no, you can keep it," I said as I pushed the jacket into his chest.

"You sure?" 

"Yep!"

"Oh okay. I'll see you later then Y/N!" He said while waving.

"I'll miss you," I said quietly but loud enough for him to hear.

"I'll miss you too," I heard him quietly reply.
