Part 8: Likes?

[[Jin's P.O.V.]]

I walked home slowly. I couldn't stop thinking about Y/N. Everytime I thought about her my heart fluttered with delight. She is so sweet and beautiful. I'm so happy Taehyung introduced me to her. If he didn't, I don't know what I would be doing now. I stop walking and look up to the sky.

"I miss her company already," I whispered.

I finally arrive home.

"Guys I'm back!" I said loudly while walking to the lounge room where the guys where.

"Where were you? We were wondering were you went," Taehyung asked

"And where did you get that jacket?" Jungkook said giggling.

"I went over to a friends house. And they gave me this jacket," I said while walking to my bedroom.

I fell onto my bed and stared at the ceiling. Why do I get so nervous around her now? What's happening to me? This has never happened to me. Maybe I like her? Well of course I like her! I like everyone!

"Gosh Kim Seokjin. What are you thinking?" I mumbled.

I suppose I could text her.

[[Texting]]

Jin: Hey Y/N! Thanks for letting me come over

Y/N: Np! I'm glad you came over. If you didn't I would of been soooo bored.

Jin: xD

Y/N: So.. Are the guys behaving?

Jin: If you call messing up the house behaving then yes.

Y/N: How predictiable lol

Jin: Ikr xD

Y/N: You wanna get lunch tomorrow together?

Jin: Sure! It's been a while since we have ate lunch together outside our houses.

Y/N: You're so right! XD

Jin: Cya tomorrow then!

Y/N: Okie doki! Cya!

[[End Of Texting]]

I can't wait to see Y/N tomorrow. It really has been forever since we got lunch together. I wonder if she feels nervous when she's around me like when I'm around her? I wonder if she misses my company like I miss hers. What am I thinking! Could I...? No... But could I? Why is this so confusing?! I suppose I will wait to see what will happen.

[[Your P.O.V.]]

Today I'm going to have lunch with Jin. It's been a while. I hope I look okay. Why am I worrying about my looks? I never worry about my looks. Anyways, I better go. I don't want to be late.

I got a taxi and arrived at the mall. I see Jin in the distance. He was waving at me. I went over to him and said hi.

"So where do you want to eat. There's a lot of places here," I said to Jin while looking around.

"How about there?" He said while pointing at a cafe.

"Ooh. I've never been there before! Let's go!!" I said excitingly.

We went over to the cafe. It was more of a cake shop though. Jin brought a cute pink cupcake and so did I. We sat down a the nearest table.

"Ooh! This cupcake looks cute! Just like you," He said.

I blushed and took a bite in my cupcake.

"Mhm... This is so good," I said still chewing

"Yum," He said as he bit his cupcake.

After finishing our cupcakes, we decided to do a bit of shopping while we were here.

"Where do you want to go shopping first?" I asked Jin.

"I'm not sure. You can decide," He said happily.

"Hmm.... How about that store? They sell random but cool stuff," I asked.

"Sure! I don't think I have been there yet," He said while walking over to the store.

We had a look around and we decided what to buy. I brought a ring (a ring for guys) for Jin. We walked out the mall and when we were about to say our goodbyes, I gave him his gift.

"Here! I got this for you! I had trouble finding something for you so this was the best I could do," I said while giving him the ring.

"Really? Thank you Y/N! It's amazing! And I got this for you!" He exclaimed happily while giving me a beautiful necklace.

"It's beautiful!" I exclaimed as put the necklace on.

"It looks amazing on you!" He said happily.

I blushed. Suddenly, he moved closer to me until our lips were only milimeters apart. I felt his light breath against my face. I was blushing uncontrollably and I felt my skin burning. He took a step back.

"I-I'm sorry. We better get home. I'll drive you," He said shyly.

"O-Okay," I stumbled.

Was he about to kiss me? I stood there like an idiot trying to process what was happening.

"My car's over here!" He said while walking over to his car.

I rushed over to his car and we both took a seat in his car. He acts like nothing happened. I can't believe he doesn't feel the awkward tension. Well, that's Jin for you.

We arrive outside the apartment building. During the car ride, I had managed to recover from what was happened somehow.

"Thanks Jin! I'll see you tomorrow!" I happily said.

"See ya!" He said.

I got out of the car and went to my apartment. I collapsed onto my bed.

"Today, I hung out with an extremely hot guy and we brought gifts for each other and we almost kissed. What a day!" I said happily.

I layed on my bed for at least 10 minutes and my heart would beat out of my chest whenever I thought of Jin. I'm so lucky. Even though I might like him, he would never like me back. I'm just an average girl and he would deserve better. I wonder what he does for a living. I'll have to ask him soon. But I better get to sleep. I'm going to hang out with the girls tomorrow so I better get a good sleep.
