I tried my best to pry my eyes away from Adam but my brain wouldn't let me.

It basically went like this.

My brain:Stare at him
Me:Why?
My brain: You gotta

I really hoped Adam didn't notice. I think he was to intrigued by the lions to  notice much.

"Wait they choose there paladin?" He asked.

"Yes and then the paladin must form a bond with their lion to gain strength." Allura explained.

"Okay so what's Voltron?" He questioned.

"Voltron is when all the lions form together to make on giant robot the blue and yellow are the legs, red and green are the arms and the Black is the head fit for the leader of Voltron" Allura smiled to herself, she admired her fathers creation more than anything in the world.

"Amazing" was all Adam could respond he was in our awe.

"They haven't been used in years" Keith told him "there's been no need for them."

"Yes" Romelle began "since the Alteans and Galra are finally at peace Voltron as been shut off for awhile now." 

"There astonishing" Adam complemented.

"They really are" Pidge added.

Allura chuckled just as Coran burst in the doors.

"Princess Allura your father want to discuss your birthday" he told her as Allura rolled her eyes.

"Why is he making such a big deal about this dumb party anyway" Allura crosses her arms like a three year old and pouted.

"I'm sorry Allura but you must come" Corns gave her an apologetic look she gave in and walked with Coran out the door.

Next thing you know a beep sound gave from where Keith was standing. He pulled out his phone and sighed.

"Come on Hunk we gotta go" Keith grumbled as he put his phone back in his pocket.

"Why" Hunk groaned.

"Commander wants us back" Keith sighed as Hunk mumbled something and walked over to Keith.

"Bye" Hunk waves as he neared the exit.

"See you guys" Keith said "oh and Lance good training your getting better" he then cooly walked out the door leaving Lance a blushing pile of goo.

Romelle giggled "I think Lance needs some help Pidge why don't you help me bring him out of this room."

"What why?" Pidge asked.

"No reason" she said but jerks her head violently towards Adam and I.

Knowing flashes across Pidge's face "Sure Romelle I'll help you with Lance."

They walked out of the room but right before they left Romelle winked at me. I sighed at her child like behaviour.

"Are Keith and Lance a thing"Adam asked me.

I chuckled "Nah but they want to be."

"To stubborn to admit it" Adam laughed "Been there."

"How so?" I asked and Adam rolled his eyes.

"It stupid but I used to have a crush on one of my friends everyone knew about it and I wouldn't admit to it" he snickered.

"I can't relate" I giggled.

"You've never fancied someone?" He asked in disbelief.

"Not anything serious no" I told him.

"So what i'm hearing is you've never had a partner" he teased.

"No I've had boyfriends before but again it wasn't anything serious" I explained laughing slightly.

"Understandable" he chuckled.

"Really?" I said.

"Ya I've never had a serious boyfriend either" he told me "I'm gay by the way Wait do you know what that is."

I laughed "Yes Adam I know what being gay is in fact I am."

"Oh cool" he responded.

We stood there awkwardly for awhile.

"So Adam what is earth like" I asked him.

He sighed "it's nothing compared to this, in this place your so much more advanced than us this is like wakanda to New York."

"What" I asked confused.

"Oh ya you don't have Marvel here um.. I'm saying your really advanced compared to earth" he explained and I nodded my head.

"I've heard stories if earth" I told him and he raised an eyebrow.

"Really" he said "like what?"

"War" I sighed "terrible wars and death, Poverty and starvation, I've heard awful things about it but I like to think that there's good things about it to."

"Oh" Adam seemed to be at a loss for words "not all of earth is like that but ya there is a lot of it."

"My vision is that Altean people go to earth and help with our technology but I know people won't agree there afraid" I shared with him.

Adam looked at me a strange sparkle in his eyes "I think that's a great idea."

I smiled at him and he smile back just then Allura burst into the room.

"Quiznack" she screamed "why can't he just shut up about this stupid party" she stopped screaming when she saw us.

"Oh" she giggled awkwardly "am I interrupting something.

"It's nothing Allura" I told her and she nodded and walked over to us.

"I wish my father would shut up about this blasted party" she complained.

"A party sounds fun" Adam said and Allura rolled her eyes.

"Ya but the planning is a waste of time" she groaned.

"I'm sure it will be worth it" Adam told her.

She nodded slightly "Hopefully, Thanks Adam" she smiled at him and he smiled back.

Even though Adam specifically told me he was gay I felt a pain of jealousy in my stomach.  

Romelle walked in a few minutes later.

"Hey guys" she said sitting beside Allura "Allura I know you don't want to hear this right now but what's the story dress code for your party."

Allura shrugged "where whatever the Quiznack you want."

"Quiznack?" Adam asked.

"Oh it's a curse here on Altea" I informed him.

"Oh we say fuck" Adam laughed.

I giggled.

Yep today was a good day.
