The change

Adams P.O.V
I was so embarrassed after playing confessions. Takashi probably thinks I'm an idiot.

I ran a hand through my hair as I sat in my bed. Pidge and Veronica won't stop teasing me about Takashi and it's driving me insane.

I lay down and shut my eyes trying my best to fall asleep.

Just as I was drifting off I heard a scream. I jumped out of bed and sprinted out the door. I turned down that hallway and heard the scream come from Keith's room.

Keith's P.O.V pastish

I sat in my room waiting for Lance to arrive. I got up and looked in the mirror to make sure I looked okay for Lance.

What I saw terrified me. My right cheek instead of its normal purple had a patch of peach.

I screamed loudly. I looked down at my hands and stumbled back when they were the same.

This wasn't normal. Why was this happening?"

Just I was wondering what the quiznack was happening Lance burst into the room.

"Keith are you o-" he stopped when he saw me "oh my quiznack."

Tears filled my eyes. "Oh great" I thought "even Lance thinks I'm horrifying he'll probably break up with me and get with Allura."

He slowly lifted his hand to the peach spot on my cheek and rubbed his thumb against it.

"Keith what happened?" He asked me.

The tears started running down my face rapidly "I-I d-don't k-know I just l-looked in the m-mirror a-and it w-was there."

"Shh it's okay" Lance soothed me.

I leaned into his touch. He softly leaned in and kissed me.

"L-Lance t-there's something w-w-wrong with m-me" I whined the tears freely falling down my face.

He rubbed circles in my back "there's nothing wrong with you baby."

I cried into his shoulder confused on what was happening.

I heard to door open and tuned to see Adam with his mouth gaped open.

"Keith?" he questioned "what happened."

"I have no idea" I sobbed.

The doors opened again showing the rest of the crew gasping.

"Keith are you okay" Hunk asked.

"I don't know" I cried.

The group stayed in the room for the rest of the night, comforting me, all while I rested my head on Lances shoulder.

*Time skip*
I stormed through the Galra ship and walked to the office I need to get to. I wore a helmet and gloves so I could hide my skin that for some reason wasn't purple anymore.

A solider stood in my way.

"Move" i grumbled.

"Whats you business here" she asked.

"I need to see Commander Krolia" I informed her.

"Do you have an appointment" she asked.

"Nooo" I groaned "I'm her son god dammit."

Her eyes widened "my apologies go right in."

She stepped aside and I walked through the doors into my moms office.

She sat at her desk looking frustrated. She looked up and he expression changed completely.

"Keith" she grinned getting up and pulling me into a hug.

I hugged her back quickly. Once it was over I decided to cut straight to the point.

"Mom there's something wrong with me" I told her.

She frowned "hunny if this is about Lance there is nothing wrong with you I acc-"

I cut her off "no not that" I yanked off my helmet reviling the patch of peach skin.

She gasped and stared at me in disbelief.

"Keith when did this happen?" She asked seriously.

"Just last night" I told her.

"Keith there is something you need to know."

I nodded.

"You might want to sit down" she told me.

I raised an eyebrow but did as she said and sat down.

She looked at me "how do I put this Keith your father isn't Galra."

My eyes widened "what is he then?" I asked.

I had always been told my father was dead that he was a fearless galra warrior now my mom is telling me that's not true.

"He's a human Keith from planet earth" I stared at her in disbelief.

"Why didn't you tell me" I grunted standing up.

"What."

"Why didn't you tell me!" I said louder.

"Keith I-"

"Don't Keith I me why would keep my father a secret from me? Wait does that mean he's still alive does he even know about me, does he know I'm his son?" I million questions flooded my mind.

"Of course he does Keith" Mom sighed tear pricking her eyes "I couldn't stay with him back then while the Altean and galra were still at war it was extremely dangerous for him to be wrong around me, I betrayed the galra Keith I fought for Altea they all wanted me dead."

"So you left him and took me with you"
I said.

"Keith I wanted you to stay with your father but you couldn't as you can see you wouldn't have blended in on earth so we came do the agreement I would take you, saying goodbye to him was the hardest things I've ever done" she wiped her tears."

"But why couldn't you tell me this" I asked.

"Everyone told me I couldn't that you would want to meet him that it would affect the war even after it was over they still told me not to" she sighed

"I'm sorry mom" I hugged her tightly.

She was surprised but hugged back. Once we pulled away from the hug I pointed to my cheek.

"Is it always going to be like this?" I asked and mom smiled.

"If you learn to control it then no it won't be" she winked.

What the quiznack did she mean by control it.

When I arrived at the castle of lions everyone eagerly turned there head towards me.

"What did she say?!" Pidge questioned.

I explained everything and they all looked shocked.

"Wow" Adam said dumbfounded.

"That's crazy" Veronica said jut a equally dumbfounded as Adam.

Lance held my hand as everyone asked me questions.

Today was an interesting day.
