(So this book is ending around 15-20 chapters. It's just how the storyline has laid out. I hope that's okay. Also, this will answer some questions and conspiracies about Maria...)

John's{Indirect}POV

"Alright, spill." John said with an anger hinted tone, as he stomped his way over to Maria. She looked over at him confused.

"Spill? What are you talking about?" Maria asked, completely confused. John rolled his eyes in response and growled a little.

"How did you know Alexander was homeless?" He growled out. Maria froze for a little and then raised an eyebrow.

"What? I don't know what you're talking about." Maria responded, leaning against a tree. They were hanging out in the cemetery again. Alexander and John had been talking about why John was homeless and why he hadn't told John before. He had found out Alexander was from the Caribbean and was an orphan. He had no one to turn to and his old apartment was taken away because he simply could not afford it. Not many people would hire Alexander either from his pack of skill. So John had picked up some jobs. So much he had started to skip school. He missed his siblings but he knew he wasn't welcome in that house hold anymore.

"You has to of known! Every time you leave or something, it's like you're a psychic or somethin'! And I don't even believe in that type of stuff! What are you??" John ranted on with his voice raised slightly. Maria flinched and furrowed her eyebrows.

"I don't control fate or the future, Jacky." Maria responded. John growled.

"Don't call me that." He growled out, "You obviously know things, I do not." He muttered angrily. Maria kept her arms crossed over her chest and looked down. She didn't want to lie.

"I'm doing this to help you." She whispered.

"Help me?? How?!"

"I can't-"

"Can't What?? I don't understand you!"

"You will sooner or later!"

"I'd rather know now!"

"You can't know!"

Both John and Maria growled in frustration. Crossing their arms over their chests. John sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Look. I'm your friend. I just want to know more about you." John said, still slightly aggravated. Maria rolled her eyes and shook her head.

"You wouldn't understand.." she mumbled under her breath.

"You're right. I won't understand if you don't explain to me.." John replied, his voice softening.

"You will find out.. I promise..." Maria whispered, "I've got to go.. I'll talk to you later." Maria said in the same tone. John opened his mouth to say something but Maria quickly walked away. John sighed and ran his hand through his messy curls. He went back to the alleyway that him and Alexander were living in. Alexander was doing school work. He looked over at John and smiled.

"Hi!" He greeted happily. John couldn't help but grin a little at the smaller boy. He took some money from his pockets and put it in their small tent they had in the alley. John sat next to Alexander and kissed his head. This caused Alexander to blush and smile from ear to ear. He leaned against John.

"What are you working on?" John asked. John barely had time for school so he was basically dropping out because he needed to work.

"Just some history homework." Alex responded and hummed. John smiled at the smaller boy.

"I have a question." John said quietly. Trying to be confident.

"Hm?" He hummed in response.

"Will you be my boyfriend?" I ask casually. He froze for a second.

"I'm sorry, what?"

"Will you be my boyfriend?" I ask again while smiling. A large smile grows on his face. He's too cute. He blushed and giggled.

"O-Of course I-i will you dork!" He said while a light blush laid across his cheeks. John smiled brightly and wrapped his arms around Alexander.

"H-Hun I-I have homework." Alexander whined playfully. John only hummed and buried his face against Alexanders neck. Hiding his face in the crook of Alexander's neck. He giggled more.

"Don't be mad. I told Laf and Herc about our situation." John whispered. Alex tensed a bit.

"They don't hate you, love. They, just like me, are just worried. Laf offered to help us get on our feet together but I declined. I don't want him spending money on us.." John whispered again. Alex nodded slowly.

"What do you want for dinner?" John asked softly as Alexander did his homework.

"McDonalds." He responded. They had enough for fast food but wanted to save for buying an apartment. John nodded and looked down at Alexander. He put his hand on Alexander's jaw, and moved his face. Making Alex look towards John. Alex giggled at the taller male and blushed lightly. John admired Alexander's features. He had a strong jaw line, peach fuzz and a intelligent eyes. John leaned in and gently pressed his lips against Alexander's. Alex was surprised at first but slowly melted into the kiss. Letting everything else around them fade away.

It was like they didn't have any other struggles because they had each other..

After awhile, Alexander pulled away with a blushing face. He giggled and leaned against his lover.

"I love you.." He mumbled. John smiled softly.

"I love you too." He whispered and kissed the top of Alexander's head. Alexander wore Johns mother's jacket. The scent of it was slowly fading away. Now gaining Alexander's scent. It made John upset to think about. He knew he wouldn't ever forget his mother's face..

"What was your mother like..?" John asked Alexander quietly. Ever since Alex had told John about his past.. he's been curious. Alex stopped his writing and sighed. He set his paper and book down in his backpack.

"She was amazing.. so beautiful and caring.. she never deserved the names she was called while she was alive.. that's really not who she was. She was a very nice and giving women.. very wise as well." Alex whispered against Johns chest. John smiled a little.

"What about you?" Alex started while looking up at John, "What was your mother like..?" John paused. Looking at the jacket Alexander wore.

"She was... amazing.. truly a work of art.. so beautiful.. and loving.. she made everything positive.." John mumbled, remembering his mother's gentle face.

Alexander smiled. He didn't think about his past much but thinking of his mother made him smile.

"My mother was interesting. Her name was Rachel, but she always wanted to change her name. She didn't like her name and was obsessed with a different name." Alexander ranted and giggled.

"Oh yeah? What was the name?" John asked while smiling.

"Maria"
