(Imagine Person A sitting under a large tree, peacefully reading a book. Person B, carrying their own book, quietly walks over towards them, kisses them on the cheek, and sits down beside them. They stay there, just enjoying each person's presence while also enjoying their books. Person A is so invested in their book, they don't notice Person B stealing glances at them every few seconds)

I walked down the pathway inside of Central Park. It was right after school ended. There was a small group of children playing in a field nearby. I sat down and pulled my book out of my bag. It was a book MJ was letting me borrow called "Of Human Bondage". I flipped to the first page and began to read.
Not even thirty minutes later, I heard footsteps walking towards me. I looked up and saw my crush, Peter Parker. He smiled at me and sat down beside me.
"Hey, I've heard of that book," he said, completely out of the blue. "I've seen my friend, MJ, read it. You might not know-"
I chuckled slightly. "Peter I'm borrowing this from her." His mouth made a small "o" shape and I smiled.
Peter pulled out his book, some kind of comic book. He started to read and I continued as well.
However every once and a while I would feel someone staring at me. I would looked over at Peter and would catch him gazing at me.
He blushed and turned away. I smiled and continued to read. I read to a sad part and I wiped away a tear.
Peter looked at me with concern. "Are you alright Y/n?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. This book is kinda sad," I explain. I wiped away another tear.
He smiled nodded softly. I turned back to my book and he turned back to his comic. I turned back to my book.
I felt Peter looking at me again. I turned completely towards him. "Are you alright, Peter?"
He looked at me with his mouth opened. He opened and closed it multiple times, trying to form words.
I watched as he tried to talk. I smirk as a plan, forms in my head. I lean forwards and kiss his cheek softly. His face and ears blushed.
I looked over at Peter. He looked dazed and I realized what I did. I placed my bookmark inside my book and then placed my book inside of my bag.
I quickly stood up and walked back to the path. 'I need to get out of here, right now.' I felt a hand wrap around my wrist and pulled me back.
I turned. Peter was holding onto my wrist. I tried to pull my arm back to me. I could feel tears gathering in my eyes.
"Peter, Peter please let me go," I pleaded, tears starting to slide down my cheeks.
"No, Y/n," he said, looking into my eyes. "Not until I do this." Suddenly, he pulled me into his chest and softly kissed me. My eyes widened and I kissed him back.
It wasn't short and sweet like they say first kisses are. But it wasn't long and sexual. It was comforting. Almost like he was validating me, maybe even himself. Like a "Don't worry, I like you too" kind of kiss.
We slowly pulled away and I looked up into his eyes and smiled, smiled brighter than I have in a long time.
"See you at school tomorrow, Parker?"
