It differs for everyone whether it's in someone's teenage years, twenties, or even thirties. Y/N is known as the Ultimate Matchmaker. The killing game for DRV3 is a simulation in this one-shot.

Today's another day for school! How fun, yay.

I'm kidding, I can't stand school. People try to use my talent to figure out who they're meant for, but I've turned it into a business luckily. I suppose that's not too bad. I don't have too many friends, but I do have a few friends. Anyways, let's get on with this day!

Today is actually the day when I'm supposed to find my one true love, I'm somewhat excited to find out what kind of person he or she is! I'm going to try and dress up somewhat cute at least, so that whoever I'm meant for doesn't immediately run away from me or something. Although, I shouldn't try too hard since I don't have to fall in love with my fated one.

I got ready for school, keeping my hair down and as neat as possible. (If you have short hair, never mind!) I put on my favorite outfit and my favorite pair of shoes (a few accessories and/or makeup too if you want!). After doing that, I got my school bag and any other things I may have forgotten to put into my bag the night before. Soon, I was heading to school, looking down at my timer watch, it was only a few hours before it ended. The timer stopped at about lunch time, that reminded me an awful lot about romance movies.

I have arrived at school and everything seemed normal until I heard about a new student coming back to school today because he or she had been in the latest Danganronpa season.

A new student, huh? I wonder if he or she could be my fated love. It seems cliché, but the title of the "Ultimate Matchmaker" is already cliché. A perfectly cliché scenario for a perfectly cliché Ultimate.

I've watched Danganronpa a few times and honestly, the deaths can get brutal. My friends have gotten me to watch the latest season of Danganronpa a few times and I know there were about 16 people in the cast. It was an interesting bunch of students. A pianist, detective, maid, artist, and I think there was an astronaut. Man, they have such cool talents while here I am with such a sappy one.

I headed to my classes and a few classmates made comments about how lucky I was to finally get a soulmate. Plus, apparently, I might get one who's famous since the new student has been confirmed to be a Danganronpa participant.

Once my classes before lunch time had ended, I started walking to the cafeteria and looking at my watch. There were still another 4 minutes until I finally met my soul mate. I soon got to the cafeteria and sat down at a lunch table that my friends and I sat at normally.

My watch has 24 seconds left.

It's now or never.

My heart is racing, my soul mate is going to be here.

I get to meet the one I'll love.

5 seconds left.

Am I ready?

Is this okay?

It doesn't matter anymore because...

There's only a second left.

My watch starts ringing loudly, but another ringing noise follows it.

He or she is here.

However, a loud door slam is also here along with a quiet audience.

I stand up, looking around at where he or could be. However, someone with purple spiky-like hair is at the cafeteria door, meaning he caused the door slam.

"Hiiiii! The beloved, new, and famous super high school level Supreme Leader, you have all been waiting for is here! My name's Kokichi Oma, and sorry, I can't date any of my fan girls or boys! Seeeee?" The purple haired boy announces with a huge grin, holding up his ringing watch.

My soul mate is a guy who is surprisingly short and looks a lot like a child. However, he's really cute in his own way.

"Hey! Y/N L/N, get over there to your new boyfriend!" A random voice shouts out, interrupting my thoughts.

"Huuuh? Y/N L/N, hm?" Kokichi says curiously, looking over at me. "Wow, am I lucky or what? I didn't get a totally-boring-looking-girl!"

I don't know what to say, all I can feel is my loud heart beat. I have to walk over to him though! I force myself to carefully walk over to him, trying not to fall over from all the feelings I'm feeling.

To my surprise, Kokichi runs over to me and hugs me. "I love you, Y/N! Wanna be my new girlfriend?" He asks me.

This is so sudden, what should I say?

My instincts tell me to say no, but fate put us together.

"Is he telling a lie? Poor Y/N," a voice suddenly says.

"Kokichi did such a boring confession, I hope he's lying!" Another voice says.

Wait, Kokichi was in the Danganronpa season, so he's the new student. Oh no.

"Nice try, cutie, but aren't you a little too young to date me?" I tell him.

"Aww, you called me a cutie! That's so nice, but I already know I'm adorable!" Kokichi grins. "Buttttt I know I'm old enough to steal your heart, so that's exactly what I'll do! I, Kokichi Oma, am going to take your heart for myself!"

"Lovely, can't wait to watch you fail," I tell him with a smile.

"Or succeed," he adds on.

After that day, everyday was like an adventure. Kokichi was absolutely amazing. However, Kokichi said he had lied and didn't really love me, but he does like me. Although, I fell in love within the first three weeks of knowing him.

Kokichi, my heart, it will forever yearn for your love, attention, touch, and affection.

I may not tell you how I feel for another couple of weeks, but just know, I love you.
