Chapter 6: Lightning's Visit

Tsuna's POV

Okay... so, it's been two days since I saved Yamamo- I mean, Takeshi (as he insisted to be called that as he in return of calling me by name too), and now he's been following me around exactly like how Hayato-kun does (Because calling him Gokudera-kun will cause him to whine in tears just because I called Takeshi-kun by his name... *sigh*)

Yeah, well anyway. Now, I'm currently standing in front of my bedroom with a question to that certain tutor of mine.

"Er... Reborn... Why is there a random kid here?" I asked as I walked into my room, the boy mentioned had messy black hair and plasters on his face, he looked bored as he sat on my bed.

"Mama downstairs let me in when I said I was looking for Reborn" He spoke, a spark in his eyes.

Hayato scowled at the boy and began his rant "What do you think you're doing in Juudaime's room brat"

Takeshi just laughed at the sight and began talking to the boy "Yo~ Who are you and what are you doing in Tsuna's room kid?"

"Don't call Juudaime so casually Yakyu-Baka!" Hayato yelled starting up an odd one-sided argument.

That was when Reborn decided to speak "Tsuna we're going to do your homework, I expect all correct answers or else you'll be blown up like last times" I gulp at his words, whilst also sweatdropping at the way he ignored the boy's presence.

I looked at the boy and he must have sensed my hesitance as he gave me that same bored look before saying "Go ahead, study, I won't get in your way, I just want to watch you for now"And so hesitantly I sat to study with the others and a strange kid just watching us. I'm sure Reborn can handle him if he is an assassin or something.

*A little timeskip*
It's barely two hours, and I am exhausted already thanks to that evil spawn of Devil. I mean seriously! How can Reborn turn a study session into something so grueling?

"Are you done now?" A young voice suddenly says, pulling me out of my trance as I snap my head to the source, oh yeah, there's still that strange boy in my room...

"I-I think so," I say, stuttering a little at the beginning before Hayato can have a go at the boy.I yelp at pain suddenly erupts in my head, I look at Reborn accusingly "A Mafia Boss doesn't stutter, Dame-Tsuna" I pout and grumble at him before noticing the boy has walked up to us and is now looking up at Reborn intently.

"You're Reborn, right?" He asks him "The son of the so-called number one hitman in the world"I look at Reborn in shock, he's the son of someone that powerful? Hayato looks outraged at the boy and Yamamoto-Kun looks like he has no idea what's happening but he seems to be optimistic.

"Hmm, I am... however..." Reborn says, a scary glint in his eyes "I plan on taking that title from the old man"

"Heh, whatever, My name is Lambo Bovino and Da- I mean Boss said if I take you out he'll accept me as a full-fledged member of the Bovino Famiglia" As he said that he takes out a gun and aims at Reborn, who has been silent with his fedora covering his eyes.

The next thing I know in the blink of an eye, the boy is laying on the floor and Reborn's leg is raised, the gun scattering across the floor.

"You're a hundred years too young to be taking on someone of my level," Reborn says his eyes cold as he pointed Leon, now in its gun form, at the boy's forehead.

The boy is shivering on the ground, his eyes full of fear, and I'm sure that I have the very same eyes as my body moved on its own.

"REBORN! STOP SCARING HIM" I yell at Reborn, pushing him out of the way to kneel next to the boy, I slowly approach him, so I don't scare him any more than he already looks scared.

His fearful eyes bore into my skull and I just want to get rid of that look.

"Shh, it's okay, I won't hurt you, please calm down," I say softly to him.

And as he calms down I then smiled at him before then frowning as I just realized just how small he is,  "How old are you Lambo-Kun?" I ask him.

He looks at me in surprise before mumbling lowly "...Ten...""Ten...?" I mutter in shock. He is definitely too small for a ten-year kid. And just then I realized something else, as I stared back at him sternly "-And just who thought it was a good idea to give you weapons and set you loose in Japan on your own? And don't say someone was here with you, you said it yourself you came looking for Reborn and Kaa-San let you in, you were alone"

He sighs before speaking "The Boss of the Bovino Famiglia... This... He said it was an acceptance trial... so I accept it."

However, he soon cast down as he continues his word, "Perhaps he thought me as dumb or something. I know that he send me to this suicidal mission was just to get rid of me... Fa- I mean, Boss probably thought I would be killed in an instant without even knowing about anything... Heh, Naive aren't I? Thinking that somehow I could do the mission just to be recognized by my own poor excuse of-"

Hearing this, I gasp as I can't help but hug him close without letting him finish. He tenses before relaxing in my hold.

"You can stay here," I say to him and he looks surprised. "I'll ask Kaa-San to make arrangements"

"You? Why? You're not angry?" He asks apprehensively.

"Angry? I'm furious" He looks scared at that but then I continue "I'm furious at your family, no one should be treated like that, especially not a child." -And with that, he broke down in tears in my arm. In which I'm glad that he did.

I then promised myself to protect Lambo from whoever trying to harm him. Just like how Hayato and Takeshi. He is now a part of my family. And no one messes with my Family...

***Reborn's POV

I smirk as I watch my student comfort the Bovino boy. Heh, looks like he has earned himself a Lightning Guardian. Great...

I almost let him away with yelling at me, almost.

"Ahem" I get Tsuna's attention and my smirk widens as I see him pale "I'm going to double your training for yelling at me and interrupting," I say, eyes glinting with excitement.

He just lets out a squeak before running out of the room with the boy as The other two running after him. I shook my head feeling amused as I let Leon crawls back to my fedora. He then licks my cheek, making me chuckle as I pet him to stop.

"Not now, Leon. I still have to run after that stupid student of mine" I told him. and I know that he understands. However, before I could even step out of the room, my phone rang...

I raised an eyebrow at the name.

'Ventura?' Calling me twice within a week was something he rarely did but now he's been doing it three times. Just what's going on?
"What is it, Ven? I'm busy, so this better be good." I said as soon I pick it up.
"Well, sorry for being a nuisance, Mr.Busy-guy. But I thought that it's important to warn you that some people just escaped Vindincare."He says in annoyance. Wait... did he just say-

"Vindicare? Are you sure you're not mistaken?" Afterall, Vindice has the tightest security guard and escaping them are similar to Impossible. So how?

"Yeah, Apparently someone found a way to not just escaped himself but also bring some deadly people on his side. His name is Rokudo Mukuro"

Ventura then says again, "This guy is dangerous, and what more, I'm at least 96% sure that he's heading to Japan for a reason. And though I don't know whatever it is, but I really, like... REALLY have a bad feeling about this."

I was silence for a couple of moment, trying to absorb this new information when I hear his voice shrinking into a whisper as he says, "Please... promised me that you'll be alright. I... I just don't know if I have to lose you anymore" his voice strained, and I could almost imagine him tightening his grip on his phone, body slightly shaking at that certain memory...

I can't help but smiled fondly to calm him down despite knowing that it's impossible for him to see it. "Hey, It's okay, Ven. Everything will be just fine. I won't let whoever this Rokudo-person interrupt my Job moreless harm me. Have a little faith in your big brother, will you?" I told him as I later heard him sighing with a shaky breath.

"Well, Okay... Though it's not like I don't trust you. I'm just..."

"-Worried." I finished. "Don't worry. I'm aiming to be the best hitman afterall, I won't let anyone kill me before then. I'm just that stubborn" I said with a blooming smirk, especially when I hear him chuckle.

"Yeah, of course. That's so like you. I feel a bit dumb to worry actually. I mean, For sure you'll handle things with your chaotic ways anyway"

I hummed, "What can I say? I love making chaos..." and he laughs.

"Haha... well, alright then, I'll be leaving now. Need to finish my homework before Mother start nagging on me." at this I snickered.

"You do that. Be a good boy and don't call me for another century. It annoys me."

"Yeah, whatever. Take care of yourself, Ren. Chao..."

"Chao..." I reply, and with that, I ended the call.

Humming to myself, I then proceed with my earlier task while thinking, 'So... Rokudo Mukuro, huh?' a smirk blooms on my face.

"It seems like things just getting more and more Interesting..."
