The next morning, I woke up refreshed after a heavy slumber, and full of excitement for what was to come that day.
"The infamous Abbey and Katie literally want me to live with them," I stated to myself in a whisper, with a bit of a shriek hidden in my pitch.
I looked over at the clock hanging on the wall, and read that it was 10:37. I tidied up my temporary bed- the one that I partially didn't want to leave, because it apparently "smells like Adam," my thoughts brought to mention. I giggled at my own silliness. Then, I pulled on the silk robe that I was borrowing, and headed up the stairs to see if anyone was awake.
First place I headed was the kitchen. There were a couple dirty dishes out and some crumbs on the counter, so it was easy to assume that someone else had made it there before me that morning, but there wasn't any sign of Joan or Randy moving around the house right then.
I was practically starving, and the night before, Joan very specifically assured me that there was no need to hesitate from searching the fridge and cupboards, and grabbing what I please. I quoted her exact words in my head:
"Now, I don't want you to ever hesitate from getting into the fridge or cupboards when you're hungry. There was an Adam Young living in my house for 22 years, so I'm plenty used to my kitchen being completely raided!"
Still not sure who was still at the house, if anyone at all, I walked over to the fridge. Before I opened the freezer door, I saw a note with neat hand writing that read:
"Olivia honey, I got a call and had to get to work even earlier than planned. Loved having you here yesterday and last night, and I hope we can all get together again this week! Have fun with the girls. :)"
I smiled at her thoughtfulness in words, then turned the paper over to find a list of emergency phone numbers.
I looked in the freezer and found some toaster waffles, so I ate that and also scrambled two eggs, then picked up the mess in the kitchen. After that, I grabbed yesterday's clothes out of the dryer (Joan had washed them with a load of laundry she did for herself), made sure I had a hair cap, so I didn't ruin my curls that were still in rollers from the previous night, and headed downstairs so I could shower before Abbey and Katie headed over!

Ding-dong!
"The girls are here," I exclaimed, even though no one other than myself could hear.
I grabbed the bag of clothes and such that Abbey and Katie had lended me the night before, took one last look (and inhalation) of the "Magic Room" and swiftly made my way up the stairs to greet my new roommates (and chauffeurs... ahah.)
I was greeted with warm smiles and words almost instantly.
"Why, good morning Miss Olivia," the strawberry haired one chuckled.
Abbey made notice of my hair that I had let down and styled after showering. "Those locks are stunning!"
With a giddy smile, I responded, "Good morning to you both & happy Wednesday hehe! And thanks, Abbey."
"Uh huh," both girls responded in unison.
"Let's head over to the shopping center now," Katie said.
The three of us got in the car, and Abbey in the passenger seat mentioned, "Adam wants to meet with us for a late lunch, by the way... probably around 2:30pm, is what he said!"
