Him//Loneliness

Loneliness is my only companion.
He caresses me at night,
And fills my head with uncertainty.
They don't like you.
You're an annoyance.
You have no one.
He whispers in my ear,
Honey masking his hurtful words.
His warm hand holds mine,
My fingers crushed underneath his grip,
Ensuring I don't escape.
His soft lips touch mine,
Quieting any words forming on my tongue.
Because why do I need to talk,
When they won't listen anyways?
His voice resonates in my head,
And I let him quiet me with his kiss,
Something so sweet, yet so hurtful.
His presence is intoxicating,
Comforting.
But it terrifies me.
I love him more and more as the days pass,
And I see myself completely disappearing
In his shadow.
An empty shell of the girl I used to be,
Now filled with Loneliness
And nothing else.
